Okay, let’s talk This Is Us. Specifically, Season 6, Episode 7. You know, the one with the college visit?

I have thoughts. Maybe controversial thoughts. Prepare yourselves.

The Princeton Pilgrimage

First off, Princeton. Is that the dream school for everyone now? It felt like a big deal. A really big deal.

I get it, it's a good school. But, honestly, did anyone else think the campus looked…kind of grey?

Deja's considering Princeton. Cool. But, wasn't she just stressing about finding a good school with a great cafeteria?

Suddenly, she's all about Ivy League prestige? Seems a little fast, right?

Maybe it's just me. Maybe I'm just jealous of anyone who even considers applying to Princeton. #communitycollegelife

Ugh, Malik. I'm sorry, but I’m officially over him. He shows up, causing chaos. Rinse and repeat.

His issues with alcohol are serious. No denying that. But, did he really have to bring all that drama to Princeton?

It just felt like a convenient way to add tension. And, honestly, I'm tired of the tension surrounding Deja. Give the girl a break!

Okay, here’s where I might lose some of you. I didn’t hate the Malik storyline completely.

It showed how hard it is to shake your past. Especially when you're trying to build a future.

But...still Team Deja deserves better.

Rebecca's health is, as always, a major concern. Her moments of clarity are beautiful. And heartbreaking.

Her confusion about Malik was... understandable, given everything. It also served as a sad reminder of her condition.

Is it just me, or are these memory lapses happening more frequently? Get ready for some tears, folks.

We know Rebecca's future isn't bright. The flash forwards constantly remind us.

Is she going to be okay with Deja's choices? Or, will her illness cloud her judgement?

My heart can't handle much more of this emotional rollercoaster. Seriously, I need tissues... and maybe a therapist.

Overall, Season 6 Episode 7 was... fine. Not the best. Not the worst. Just... fine.

It felt a little rushed. A little too convenient. A little too much drama for one college visit.

Dear This Is Us writers: Please, give us some genuinely happy moments before the end. We deserve it. And so do the Pearsons.

Also, more Beth. Always more Beth.

And please, for the love of all that is holy, let Deja find happiness that doesn't involve Malik. Thank you.
