Watch The Walking Dead Season 10 Episode 9

Okay, folks, let's talk about The Walking Dead. Specifically, Season 10, Episode 9. You know, "Squeeze"?
Remember that one? Me too, vaguely. It involved caves, claustrophobia, and Whisperers. Good times! (Not really.)
Whisperer Woes and Cave Crawls
Honestly, this episode felt like a really long, dark, and damp episode. Like being stuck in a haunted laundromat. Except with more walkers.
Must Read
I know, I know, we're supposed to be on the edge of our seats. Daryl’s being a badass. Carol's being… Carol. But those caves were so stressful!
Unpopular Opinion Alert!
Here's my hot take: I wasn’t totally sold. Sorry not sorry. Feel free to @ me, Walking Dead stans!
The claustrophobia got to me. Not in a good, suspenseful way. More in a "I need to pause this and take a deep breath" kind of way. Anyone else?

And the Whisperers? We get it. They’re creepy. They wear dead people's faces. They whisper. We've been dealing with them for, like, ever.
Alpha was truly terrifying. Samantha Morton nailed the role. But the whole cave showdown just felt… stretched. Like week-old zombie jerky.
Carol's Conundrums (Again)
Carol! Oh, Carol. I love her, I really do. But girl, your decisions sometimes leave me scratching my head.

Her recklessness in this episode was off the charts. Driven by grief and a desire for revenge? Sure. But still… someone needs to take away her car keys, or in this case, her assault rifle.
Seriously, it felt like every bad decision in that cave stemmed from Carol's actions. At least she felt bad about it? A little?
And let's be real, her storyline has been all over the place. One minute she's a stoic survivor, the next she's making questionable choices that endanger everyone. Make up your mind, writers!
Daryl Being Daryl (Thank Goodness)
Thank goodness for Daryl. He’s the dependable, crossbow-wielding, motorcycle-riding hero we all deserve.

He’s always been the grounded one, the voice of reason. Even when surrounded by Whisperers in a dark, creepy cave, he manages to keep his cool. Mostly.
And can we talk about the way he cares for Connie? My heart! Norman Reedus brings so much heart to the role, even when he's covered in grime and zombie guts.
So, Was It Worth the Squeeze?
Okay, so maybe "Squeeze" wasn't my favorite Walking Dead episode ever. But it did have its moments. Plus, it set the stage for bigger conflicts to come.

And hey, even a mediocre episode of The Walking Dead is still better than most things on TV. Right?
So, I'll keep watching. Because I'm a glutton for punishment and zombie mayhem. And because I secretly hope Daryl and Carol will just run off and live happily ever after in a cabin in the woods. With Dog, of course.
What did YOU think? Let me know in the comments! (But be nice! Remember, we're all friends here… mostly.)
Just my two cents on a slightly underwhelming, but ultimately necessary, chapter in the Walking Dead saga.
