Alright, Let's Dish: Season 13, Episode 8

Okay, confession time. I just re-watched RuPaul's Drag Race Season 13, Episode 8. And you know what? I have thoughts. Controversial thoughts, maybe.

It was the "Disco-mentary" episode, remember? The queens had to create disco-inspired verses and choreo. Some shined. Some... well, some didn't glitter as brightly.

The Challenge: Disco Fever Dreams

I actually kind of loved the challenge. Disco is just pure joy. Plus, the outfits? Come on! Sequins and platform shoes for days.

But here's my unpopular opinion. I didn't think everyone totally nailed it. Don't get me wrong, there were some fantastic performances.

Like, Symone? She absolutely slayed. Her charisma is off the charts. No arguments there.

The Runway: Little Black Dress Realness

The runway theme was "Little Black Dress." Classic, right? A chance to show off their personal style and sophistication.

Now, I know the judges were obsessed with certain looks. But I wasn't completely sold on all of them, TBH.

Anyone else feel like some of the LBDs were, dare I say, a little basic? Maybe I’m just being picky.

My Unpopular Opinion Zone

Ready for my first controversial take? I think Rosé was underscored. Her performance was funny, her runway was great!

I know, I know, some people didn't love her verse. But I thought it was campy and entertaining. Sue me!

And another one? I didn't think Olivia Lux should have been in the bottom. Her runway was gorgeous. It fitted her like a glove!

I’m aware this is a wildly debated topic. The judging panel is not always in agreement.

The Lip Sync: Heartbreak Hotel

Okay, let’s talk about the lip sync for your life. This time it was a song by Heartbreak Hotel.

It was...fine. Intense, for sure. Did it fully save either of them? I’m not entirely convinced.

It feels unfair to judge when there are two amazing queens trying to perform for their life.

The Goodbye (and the Shade)

Of course, someone had to go home. And saying goodbye is always hard.

Especially when you know the queens have poured their heart and soul into the competition.

Let's face it, we all have our favorites. But sometimes, the judging just doesn't go your way.

Final Thoughts (and More Shade)

Overall, Episode 8 was good! Entertaining challenges, fabulous looks, and plenty of drama.

Do I agree with every decision? Absolutely not. But hey, that's what makes Drag Race so much fun to watch!

Because where's the fun without a little bit of argument, right?
