Watch Rupauls Drag Race All Stars Season 7

Okay, let's be real. Remember All Stars 7? You know, the "winners only" season of RuPaul's Drag Race?
A Crown Too Many?
Everyone went absolutely bonkers. "Legends!" they screamed. "Iconic!" they cried. I get it, powerhouses. But… was it too nice?
Hear me out! We all adore RuPaul, obviously. And the queens were undeniably talented. But where was the DRAMA?
Must Read
Too Much Niceness?
Normally, I LIVE for the shady reads. The backstabbing. The queens pretending to be friends while secretly plotting world domination. All Stars 7 felt like a tea party. A very expensive, glittery tea party.
Don't get me wrong. It was beautiful! The outfits were stunning. The challenges were…challenging. But the lack of conflict? A little bland for my taste. I mean, I watch reality TV for the reality, people!
Maybe I'm just a terrible person. Maybe I thrive on chaos. But I missed the messy moments. The lip syncs for your LIFE, not your legacy. You know?

The Legendary Lineup
Let's acknowledge the supreme talent. We had the hilarious Jinkx Monsoon. The fashion icon Raja. The charismatic Trinity The Tuck.
And who could forget the stunning Shea Couleé? The theatrical Yvie Oddly? Or the consistently amazing Monét X Change? And the delightful The Vivienne.
Seriously, that cast was stacked. Each queen deserved their win. Seeing them together was a treat!

Where's the Beef?
But here's my controversial take: Everyone was too respectful. Too professional. Too… agreeable?
Like, imagine if Phi Phi O'Hara was in that season! Or even Raven! Things would have been very different, right?
I missed the cutthroat competition. The feeling that someone's wig was about to be snatched (figuratively, of course… mostly). It all felt a bit… sanitized.
The Platinum Plunge?
And that Platinum Plunger thing? Innovative! A twist! But did it really add anything?

Maybe a little strategy but, for the most part, it just seemed like a nice gesture that would not truly eliminate the other queen. Everyone was so sweet they would never ever use it.
It was like everyone was afraid to hurt each other's feelings. Which is lovely in real life! Less so in a reality competition where the goal is to… you know… win.
Unpopular Opinion, Activated!
So, here it is. My possibly unpopular opinion: All Stars 7 was amazing. It was well-produced. It was visually stunning. It showcased incredible talent.

But it lacked the chaotic energy that makes Drag Race so addictive. There just wasn't enough villainy. Not enough genuine conflict.
I missed the moments where you gasp at your TV. The times you question your allegiances. The feeling of rooting for the underdog…or the overdog, depending on the day.
Maybe I'm just a drama queen. But give me messy queens any day!
I'm ready for your downvotes. But I stand by my (slightly shady) truth! Give me more Untucked arguments. More shady confessionals. More wig-snatching moments!
Don't get me wrong, respect RuPaul and the amazing talented queens, but I like a little spice in my life.
