Watch Law And Order Organized Crime Season 2

Okay, let's talk about something that's been living rent-free in my brain: Law & Order: Organized Crime Season 2. Specifically, the part where I kinda, maybe, perhaps... enjoyed it?
Don't get me wrong. I know it had its issues. Maybe more than a few. But hear me out!
The "Stabler Goes Deep Undercover" Saga
Season 2 was basically Elliot Stabler going full-on undercover. He infiltrated the Albanian mob. He was all leather jackets and brooding. It was... a lot.
Must Read
Some people thought it was too drawn out. They said the plot was convoluted. Maybe they are right. But I was strangely invested.
Call me easily entertained. I won't deny it. But watching Stabler navigate the murky underworld was like watching a puppy try to solve a Rubik's Cube.
The Family Drama (Oh Boy!)
The Albanian mob wasn't just some random crime syndicate. It was all about family. And of course, Stabler had to get right in the middle of it.

We had betrayals. We had alliances. We had enough simmering tension to power a small city. My popcorn supply suffered greatly.
Look, I'm not saying it was Shakespeare. But it was definitely... something. Something dramatically cheesy and compelling. Don't judge me!
I found myself weirdly rooting for some of the bad guys. Is that wrong? Probably. Am I going to apologize? Absolutely not.
Dylan McDermott as Richard Wheatley
Let's be honest, Dylan McDermott elevated the whole show. He was deliciously evil as Richard Wheatley. The man knew how to chew scenery.

He was the kind of villain you loved to hate. Every scene with him was pure gold. I was practically begging for more Wheatley.
Seriously, his smarmy grin alone deserves an Emmy. Okay, maybe that's an exaggeration. But only a little.
I know, I know, he's supposed to be a terrible person. But McDermott made him so captivating. He was so intelligent and unpredictable.
The "Did They or Didn't They?" Tension
Let's not forget the ever-present undercurrent between Stabler and Benson. Even though they weren't in the same show most of the time, the hints were there.

The longing looks! The cryptic phone calls! The sheer weight of unresolved feelings! It was enough to make a shipper's heart soar (or groan, depending on your perspective).
Look, I'm not saying I'm a die-hard "Benson and Stabler" 'shipper. But I'm also not not saying it. You feel me?
Maybe it's the nostalgia talking. Maybe it's the fact that they have incredible chemistry. Whatever it is, it's definitely part of the show's appeal.
Unpopular Opinion: It Was Good (ish)!
So, yeah, I'm putting it out there. I enjoyed Law & Order: Organized Crime Season 2. Sue me.

It wasn't perfect. It was messy. It was sometimes downright ridiculous. But it was also entertaining. And sometimes, that's all I ask for.
Plus, any show that gives us more Elliot Stabler can't be all bad, right? Right?
So, if you haven't watched it yet, give it a try. You might hate it. You might love it. You might just find yourself strangely entertained, like me.
Just don't blame me if you end up shouting at your TV screen. I warned you!
