Was Episode 10 Of Mayans The Season Finale

Okay, let's talk Mayans M.C. Did anyone else watch Episode 10 and think, "Wait, is that it?" Seriously, I'm asking.
I know, I know, it's only Season 5. But hear me out.
The Ending That Felt...Final
Think about it. EZ Reyes basically achieved all his twisted little goals. He became El Presidente. He got his revenge. It all wrapped up a bit too neatly, didn't it?
Must Read
Like a present someone panic-wrapped five minutes before the party. All pretty, but feels rushed.
The Obvious Loose Ends (Or Are They?)
Sure, there are some dangling threads. Angel's future, for example. And what about Nails? Will she ever forgive him?
But honestly, do we need to see them resolved? Sometimes, the best stories are the ones that leave you wondering.

"Some men aren't looking for anything logical, like money. They can't be bought, bullied, reasoned, or negotiated with. Some men just want to watch the world burn." – Alfred Pennyworth (and maybe EZ Reyes, low-key).
The Problem with Prolonging Stories
Too often, shows get dragged on. They lose their spark. The writing suffers.
Characters start acting weird. Plots become convoluted. We've all been there, right?
Wouldn't it be better for Mayans M.C. to go out strong? Leave us wanting more? Instead of becoming a shadow of its former self?
My Unpopular Opinion (Brace Yourselves)
Here it comes: Episode 10 could have been a killer series finale. Boom. Done. Mic drop.

Don't get me wrong, I love the show. I've invested a lot of time (and tears) into these characters.
But sometimes, the best thing you can do is let go. Let the story breathe.
The Symbolism, Man!
Think about all the symbolism crammed into that episode. EZ's rise to power. The sacrifices made.

It felt like a culmination of everything. Like the show was saying, "This is it. This is the endgame."
Maybe I'm just reading too much into it. Maybe I need to lay off the caffeine. But I can't shake this feeling.
So, What Now?
Well, Mayans M.C. is confirmed for Season 5. So we’re getting more.
I'll be watching, of course. I'm too invested to quit now.

But I'll also be secretly wondering if they should have just ended it with that intense, slightly ambiguous, and ultimately satisfying Episode 10.
Final Thoughts (For Now)
Am I the only one who feels this way? Or are there other Mayans M.C. fans out there who secretly agree?
Let me know in the comments! Let's debate. Let's commiserate.
And let's hope Season 5 doesn't prove me wrong (but also, maybe a little bit, I hope it does?).
