Video Game Characters That Start With J

Ready Player J! A Jaunty Jaunt Through Gaming's Js
Let's talk video games! But only the characters whose names begin with J. This is gonna be fun, I promise. Or at least mildly diverting.
Jumping into the J-Verse
First up? Jak from the Jak and Daxter series. He's angsty, can turn into a dark version of himself, and has a silent, furry friend. Sounds like every teenager I know.
I always felt bad for Daxter, though. Stuck as an ottsel because Jak was a bit clumsy around some dark eco? Rough.
Must Read
Speaking of angst and questionable fashion choices, remember Jecht from Final Fantasy X? He's Tidus's dad, a legendary Blitzball player, and a total jerk.
Seriously, what's with the terrible parenting in J-named video game characters? It's a trend I'm not loving.
The J-List Just Keeps Going
Now, we can't forget Jill Valentine from the Resident Evil franchise. She's a master of unlocking, a zombie slayer, and probably owns a very impressive collection of tactical gear.

I always thought she deserved a better partner than Chris Redfield. Just saying.
Then there's Jon Irenicus from Baldur's Gate II. Oh, Jon. He's an evil elf wizard with a serious grudge. And the voice acting? Chef's kiss!
He's one of those villains you secretly love to hate. You know, the kind you quote at parties (if you’re a nerd, like me).

A Few More Js for the Road
Let’s not forget Joker from Persona 5! What a stylish character!
The Phantom Thieves took the world by storm, didn't they? From fighting shadows to changing hearts, it's quite a feat.
Also, shoutout to James Sunderland from Silent Hill 2! A troubled protagonist in a truly haunting and atmospheric game. Prepare to have your soul searched.

Seriously, Silent Hill 2 is a masterpiece of psychological horror. If you haven't played it, do it now (but maybe not right before bed).
And finally, a nod to Jinx from League of Legends! Crazy, unpredictable, and loves blowing things up. She brings chaos wherever she goes.
I’m not gonna lie, sometimes I aspire to be as unapologetically chaotic as Jinx. Just on a slightly smaller scale, maybe.

My Unpopular Opinion (Prepare Yourselves)
Okay, here it is. My totally subjective, possibly controversial opinion: Jak is overrated. There, I said it!
I always preferred Ratchet & Clank. Don't @ me.
Okay, that’s enough J-ing around for one day. What are your favorite video game characters starting with J? Let me know!
Don't forget to share this with your gamer friends (especially the ones who disagree with my Jak take). Let the debate begin!
