Ver Pelicula My Hero Academia World Heroes Mission

Okay, let's talk about My Hero Academia: World Heroes' Mission. You know, the one where Deku, Bakugo, and Todoroki are international superstars? Yeah, that one.
I'm just going to say it. And maybe I'll get some flak for it. But I think it's...slightly overrated.
A Fun Ride, No Doubt
Don't get me wrong. The action is awesome! The animation? Chef's kiss. Seeing our favorite heroes kicking butt on a global scale? Fantastic!
Must Read
The opening scene? Pure hype. The soundtrack? Slaps. I was definitely on the edge of my seat at several points.
But...but there's a but.
The Plot Thickens (Or Does It?)
The story felt...a little thin. Like it was stretched out to fill the movie's runtime. A global threat sounds exciting! But the execution felt a bit...predictable?

I mean, the whole "Humarise" plot? It's fine. It's just that I've seen it before. The idea that quirks are dangerous? Been there, quirked that.
And the villain? Flect Turn? Cool quirk, I'll give him that. His motivations, though? I wasn't exactly blown away by his deep-seated philosophies.
The Bro-tastic Trio
One of the best parts? The dynamic between Deku, Bakugo, and Todoroki. Seeing them work together, even with Bakugo's...explosive personality...is always a joy.
Their teamwork is actually one of the highlights. It's everything fans crave. Each of them perfectly play off each other strengths and weakness.

I really enjoyed that moment, the character developments are real. Each time Deku and Bakugo are together, I can just feel their relationship growing.
Rody Soul: Friend or Foe...or Just There?
Rody Soul! Oh, Rody Soul. He was definitely...a character. His backstory? Heartbreaking. The animation when it happened? It was like that moment in Up, but maybe a little bit shorter.
But honestly, he felt a little like a plot device. There just to push Deku into action. Did anyone else feel like Rody was a little underdeveloped?

I get it! He needs to distrust heroes for the plot to move forward. It still feels forced though.
Unpopular Opinion Incoming!
Here it is. The hot take. Brace yourselves.
I think My Hero Academia: Two Heroes and Heroes Rising are better movies. Two Heroes had the awesome setting of I-Island. And Heroes Rising felt like a culmination of everything the series had been building toward.
World Heroes' Mission? It's fun! Totally watchable! But in my totally subjective and probably wrong opinion, it just doesn't quite reach the same heights.

I still screamed when Deku used the power from All Might. But that's what it means to be a fan, doesn't it?
Final Verdict (Maybe)
Look, go watch Ver Pelicula My Hero Academia World Heroes Mission. Seriously. If you are a My Hero Academia fan, it's worth the watch. The fight scenes alone are worth the price of admission.
But don't expect a groundbreaking masterpiece. Expect a fun, action-packed adventure with your favorite heroes. Just maybe don't go in expecting it to be the best My Hero Academia movie ever made.
Because, in my (again, possibly wrong) opinion, it's not. But hey, that's just me!
