Under The Banner Of Heaven Episode 7 Release Date

Okay, people. Let's talk Under the Banner of Heaven. Episode 7. The one we've all been waiting for... right?
Or maybe not. Is it just me, or is anyone else starting to feel a little...banner-ed out?
So, When Does This Thing Finally Drop?
The burning question (pun intended!): when do we get to see the penultimate episode of this true-crime drama?
Must Read
Drumroll, please! Episode 7 premiered on June 9th, 2022. Yes, premiered. As in, already happened.
I know, I know. Time flies when you're unraveling a disturbing case involving religious extremism.
Wait, But I'm Still Behind!
No worries! Catch-up is totally allowed. You can find the show on Hulu.
It's probably still lurking there. Waiting. Judging (just kidding... mostly).

Seriously though, streaming services never forget.
Unpopular Opinion Time: Are We Almost Done Yet?
Here's where I might lose some of you. But I gotta be honest. Is anyone else feeling a bit... emotionally drained by this show?
Don't get me wrong, the acting is phenomenal. Andrew Garfield is killing it (again). Daisy Edgar-Jones is captivating.
But the subject matter? Yikes. It's heavy stuff. Like, REALLY heavy.
Maybe it's just me and my need for more lighthearted fare. Perhaps I'm craving something with singing furniture and talking animals.

Look, I appreciate a good, dark, thought-provoking series. But I also appreciate sunshine and rainbows. And maybe a nap.
I'm just saying, after weeks of dissecting faith, family, and fanaticism, a palate cleanser might be in order.
Anyone else dream of a spin-off where Andrew Garfield just solves everyday mysteries, like "Who stole my donut?"
Or perhaps a buddy-cop show with Daisy Edgar-Jones and a sassy talking parrot?
Okay, okay, I'll stop. But seriously, someone pitch those ideas to Hulu.

Back to Episode 7... What to Expect?
Without giving away any spoilers (because nobody likes a spoiler, except maybe my cat who enjoys batting at anything that moves), expect more tension. More revelations.
And probably more unsettling moments that will make you question the very nature of reality.
So, you know, the usual.
Final Thoughts (and a Plea for More Comedies)
Under the Banner of Heaven is undoubtedly a powerful and important series. It tackles complex issues with nuance and skill.
It's just... a lot. All the time.

Maybe that's the point. To make us uncomfortable. To make us think. To make us crave a really, really long vacation.
So, go forth and watch Episode 7. Brace yourself.
And then, maybe, treat yourself to something fluffy and ridiculous. You've earned it.
In the meantime, I'll be over here, plotting my escape to a land where true crime dramas are replaced with competitive cupcake baking shows.
And where Andrew Garfield always wins. Because, let's be honest, he deserves all the cupcakes.
