Tsukihime A Piece Of Blue Glass Moon Anime

Okay, folks, let's talk about something potentially controversial. I'm diving headfirst into the remake of Tsukihime: A Piece of Blue Glass Moon.
And I'm going to say it: I kind of liked it! Prepare for tomatoes being thrown.
What's the Big Deal Anyway?
So, Tsukihime is a visual novel. It's got vampires, mysteries, and a protagonist named Shiki Tohno who sees weird lines on everything.
Must Read
The original anime adaptation? Let's just say it wasn't exactly a masterpiece. Fans have... strong feelings.
Then comes the remake. A fresh coat of paint, a reimagining of the story. Surely, it was going to be great!
Why the Hate?
Well, for starters, it only adapted two routes. Two whole heroines missing! That's a crime against anime watchers everywhere.
People also complain about the animation style. Some find it too modern, too clean compared to the older, grittier feel. Nostalgia is a powerful drug, I get it.

And let's not forget the missing characters. Where are they? Why were they cut?
But... I Enjoyed It!
Here's where I might lose some of you. Despite all the valid criticisms, I found the remake entertaining. Sue me!
The animation, while different, was actually pretty good! Fluid fight scenes and vibrant character designs kept me engaged. Maybe I have lower standards?
And honestly, the story they did tell was compelling! Arcueid Brunestud is just fun to watch. Her energy is infectious.

The Characters, Oh My!
Shiki himself is an interesting protagonist. His powers are unique, and his interactions with the heroines are pretty darn great.
He is edgy, but in an endearingly lost-boy sort of way. I find him relatable, okay?
Arcueid, as mentioned, steals the show. She's powerful, playful, and utterly captivating. I couldn't take my eyes off her!
Is it Perfect? Nope.
Look, I'm not saying Tsukihime: A Piece of Blue Glass Moon is a flawless masterpiece. It's definitely not.

The limited scope is a bummer. The missing characters are a genuine loss. I wish there was more.
I wanted to see more of the other heroines! Come on, give the people what they want!
My (Probably Wrong) Conclusion
But here's the thing: what is there is still enjoyable. It's a visually appealing, well-paced adaptation of a beloved story.
It got me interested in the Tsukihime universe! I'm now planning to dive into the visual novel. Isn't that a win?

So, yeah, I liked it. Maybe I'm easily pleased, or maybe everyone else is just being too harsh. Either way, I'm not ashamed!
"Fight me!" - Me, probably.
Don't get me wrong, if there was more content, I would watch it! Give us another season, please!
So, what are your thoughts? Am I completely off base here? Or is there anyone else out there who secretly enjoyed this too?
Let me know in the comments (if anyone dares to read this far).
