Tsuki Ga Michibiku Isekai Douchuu Episode 4

Okay, let's talk Tsuki Ga Michibiku Isekai Douchuu, specifically episode 4. I know, I know, we're a bit late to the party. But hey, better late than never, right?
The Great Labyrinth Adventure Continues!
Episode 4 plunges us deeper into the labyrinth. Makoto is still OP (overpowered), obviously. But does anyone else think the labyrinth is just a tad too easy for him?
The Demiplane Domination
His demiplane is getting serious upgrades. We got new plant life, some cool-looking creatures, and the whole thing is just… thriving. I'm low-key jealous of his green thumb (or, you know, god-like powers).
Must Read
Speaking of the demiplane, let's not forget Tomoe and Mio. These two are constantly vying for Makoto's attention. It’s like watching a really weird, but entertaining, reality show.
Anyone else find Mio's obsession with Makoto's cooking a little... intense? I get it, food is good. But girl, chill. He's got other things to do, like conquering dungeons!

The Lizardmen Saga (My Unpopular Opinion)
So, the lizardmen show up. And honestly? I wasn't super impressed. They felt a little… generic isekai enemy #3,728. Sorry, lizardmen, no hard feelings.
Maybe it's just me. Perhaps my expectations were too high after seeing the spider-controlling shenanigans of previous episodes. But the lizardmen battle felt a bit… meh.
Don't get me wrong, Makoto obliterating them was cool. But the fight itself lacked the spark I was hoping for. Anyone else agree with my slightly-unpopular opinion?

A Moment for Lime Latte
But let's give credit where credit is due: Lime Latte is actually kind of interesting. He seems like a decent guy, even if he is a bit clumsy and easily manipulated.
His loyalty to the lizardmen is admirable, even if misplaced. I'm curious to see how his character develops in the future. Will he become a valuable ally? Or will he remain a lovable, but ultimately ineffective, side character?

The Goddess Strikes Back (Sort Of)
The goddess is still being a total jerk. She's basically the Regina George of the isekai world. “Why are you so obsessed with me, Makoto?” Oh wait, wrong movie.
It's fun to hate her, though. She’s like that villain you just love to see get their comeuppance. Here's hoping Makoto eventually gives her a taste of her own medicine. A very powerful medicine.
Final Thoughts (and Another Unpopular Opinion!)
Overall, episode 4 was… fine. Good, even. But not amazing. Maybe I'm just being too critical. But it felt like a bit of a filler episode, to be honest.

Hear me out: Did anyone else feel like the pacing was a little off? We spent a lot of time in the demiplane and relatively little time actually doing anything plot-relevant. Another unpopular opinion: it's just a little bit boring.
Still, Tsuki Ga Michibiku Isekai Douchuu is a fun show. Makoto is an engaging protagonist. And the world is genuinely interesting. I'm definitely sticking around for more. Even if the lizardmen were a bit of a letdown.
