This Is Us Season 3 Episode 17 Watch

Okay, Let's Talk About That This Is Us Episode
Season 3, Episode 17. Remember that one? Yeah, the one we all watched (or pretended to watch) to stay relevant in the group chat.
It’s time for my unpopular opinion. Buckle up, Pearson family fans.
Let's Dive Right In
Remember when Kevin was all, "I’m a changed man!" again? He’s always "changing." I swear he reinvents himself more than Madonna.
Must Read
And don't even get me started on his romantic entanglements! Does anyone else think he finds love interests at random?
Like, "Oh, a pretty woman! She MUST be the love of my life!" It's exhausting to watch.
Randall, Our Favorite Overthinker
Randall, bless his heart, was being Randall. You know, stressed and trying to fix everything.
He’s basically the anxiety mascot of the show. We love him for it...and also sometimes want to gently shake him.

Seriously, can't he just relax for five minutes?
Kate Being Kate
Kate was dealing with... well, Kate stuff. Always important, always emotional.
I do appreciate her journey, even if sometimes I just want to scream at her to stand up for herself.
But hey, that’s character development, right?
Jack & Rebecca: The Golden Standard (or are they?)
Okay, here's where I might lose some of you. Jack and Rebecca are supposed to be the epitome of relationship goals, right?

But, and I say this with love, sometimes they are too perfect. It's almost unbelievable.
Is it just me, or does anyone else find them a little… sanitized? I need a little more grit, people!
The Flashbacks: Necessary or Just Filler?
We all know This Is Us loves a good flashback. This episode had its fair share.
Sometimes they’re poignant and insightful. Other times, I’m just wondering when we're getting back to the present-day drama.

I mean, did we really need another scene of Jack being an amazing dad? We get it, he's a saint!
My Bold Take
Here it is: I think this episode was...fine. Just fine. Not great, not terrible, just… meh.
It wasn't a bad episode, but it felt like treading water before a bigger, more exciting plot point.
Don't get me wrong, I still love This Is Us. But sometimes, they have episodes that are just… there.
Am I Alone? Probably.
I fully expect to be roasted for this opinion. The This Is Us fandom is passionate!

But I had to get it off my chest. Maybe someone out there secretly agrees with me?
Let me know in the comments. Or don’t. Either way, I’m ready for the next rollercoaster of emotions this show throws at us!
Final Thoughts
Ultimately, This Is Us is a show that gets us talking. Even when it's just to complain (lovingly, of course).
And that, my friends, is the magic of the Pearson family.
Now, excuse me while I go re-watch the really good episodes. And maybe cry a little. You know, for research purposes.
