Did anyone else think her hair looked…different? Maybe it was the lab lighting. Either way, something's up.

Iris and Felix: Still Playing the Heroes

Iris and Felix are on a mission. Obviously. To save Hope, of course. Because that's what heroes do.

They're sneaking around, being all stealthy. It’s like a zombie apocalypse spy movie, but with less budget and more teenagers.

Seriously though, I appreciate their dedication. Even if their plans sometimes feel a little…half-baked.

Silas: The Gentle Giant Gets Tough(er?)

Silas is still out there being…Silas. Which is to say, incredibly sweet and surprisingly strong.

He's struggling with his past. He wants to be better. We all want to be better, Silas, buddy.

Is it just me, or is he getting a bit of a bad-boy vibe? I'm here for it. Give Silas a leather jacket!

The CRM: Still Shady AF

CRM is still doing CRM things. Meaning, being super secretive and definitely up to no good. Shocker.

They have resources for days. And they're using them for… questionable research. You know, the usual.

Honestly, I wouldn't trust them to water my plants. Let alone run a society.

That Cliffhanger Though...

Okay, let's address the elephant in the room. That ending. That massive cliffhanger.

Someone is back? Seriously? My brain is already spinning theories. Is it Rick? Is it Merle? Is it somehow Carl (zombie version)?

It's designed to keep us hooked. And guess what? It worked. I'm officially invested.

Unpopular Opinion Time (Brace Yourselves)

Here's my controversial take: This episode was... pretty good! I know, I know, some people hate on World Beyond.

But hear me out. It’s got its flaws. But it’s also got heart. And zombies. And more questionable leadership choices.

I'm enjoying watching these characters grow. Even if they occasionally make terrible decisions. It reminds me of my own life, TBH.

Final Thoughts (For Now)

Overall, Season 2 Episode 1 of World Beyond did its job. It set the stage. It raised the stakes. It left me wanting more.

Will Hope escape CRM brainwashing? Will Iris and Felix pull off their rescue mission? Will Silas finally get that leather jacket?

Guess we’ll just have to keep watching. And maybe lower our expectations a little. Just a little. But not too much!
