The Walking Dead Season 7 Episode 2 Putlockers

Okay, let's be real for a sec. Remember The Walking Dead Season 7 Episode 2? The one where we spent, like, a whole hour in the Kingdom with Ezekiel and his tiger, Shiva?
Yeah, that one. I have a confession to make.
An Unpopular Opinion?
I kinda...liked it. Okay, maybe "liked" is too strong. Let's say "wasn't completely bored out of my skull" instead.
Must Read
I know, I know! Everyone was all about the Negan drama and how brutal everything was. And trust me, I get it.
But after all that grimness, a little bit of sunshine (and a talking King) wasn't the worst thing in the world. Maybe I'm just a sucker for the bizarre.
A Break From the Bleakness
Think about it. We'd been knee-deep in Negan-induced stress for weeks. Rick was broken. Everyone was terrified. It was a real downer.

Then BAM! Ezekiel! Suddenly, there's a guy running a kingdom with a pet tiger! Talk about a change of pace.
Sure, it was cheesy. And maybe a little bit ridiculous. But wasn't it also…refreshing?
It felt like a weird, zombie-apocalypse version of Disney World. Minus the mouse ears and overpriced churros, of course.
The Putlocker Days
Back in the day, when that episode aired, a lot of us were scrambling to find a reliable stream. Remember Putlocker? Those were the days.

You'd click on a million different links, dodge pop-up ads, and pray you didn't accidentally download a virus. Good times! (Not really.)
But hey, at least we got to see Carol trying to figure out if she should commit to the whole Ezekiel thing or just run for the hills.
Carol's Internal Struggle
Carol's reactions were gold. She was basically the audience personified. "Is this guy for real? Is this whole place for real?"
And Ezekiel himself? The Shakespearean monologues, the regal demeanor…it was all so over-the-top. I couldn’t help but be entertained.

I mean, come on, a guy who talks like that in the middle of a zombie apocalypse? You have to give him points for commitment to the bit.
In Defense of Shiva
And let's not forget Shiva! A freakin' tiger! In a zombie show! What's not to love?
I know the CGI wasn't always perfect. But the sheer audacity of having a tiger as a main character? Brilliant!
Shiva protecting Ezekiel, taking down walkers... It was a spectacle, plain and simple.

Maybe it wasn't the most crucial episode in the series. Maybe it didn't advance the main plot all that much.
But sometimes, a little bit of campy fun is exactly what you need. Even in the zombie apocalypse.
So, yeah. I'm sticking with my slightly controversial opinion. Season 7 Episode 2? Not a total waste of time. Maybe even...enjoyable. Don't @ me!
