This episode is like a weird family dinner. You're happy to be there. But Uncle Bob is droning on about politics again.

The Good Stuff: Zombie Guts and Glenn's Guts (Get It?)

First off, the zombie well scene? Classic! So gross. So wonderfully Walking Dead.

And Glenn! Bless his heart. He's always diving headfirst (literally) into danger. He really steps up this episode, wouldn't you agree?

Then there's Daryl. He's hunting, being all grumpy and competent. We see a softer side. A glimmer. It's good stuff.

Sophia's still missing. The tension is thick. Everyone's starting to crack. Good TV, even if it's stressful.

Here Comes the "Unpopular Opinion" Train!

Now, let's get to the elephant in the room. Or, more accurately, the bloated, stinking zombie in the well. It's Patricia. She's a character in the group.

Ready for my hot take? This episode is...kind of...slow. Yes, I said it. I know, I know, pitchforks down, please!

I get it. Character development. Building tension. But honestly, some scenes feel like they drag on longer than a walker after a three-course meal.

And let's be real: the walker-in-the-well plot does feel like filler. I mean, it's visually arresting, sure. But narratively groundbreaking? Not so much.

The Lori Factor (Ugh)

And then there's Lori. Just...Lori. Do I even need to say anything?

Her moral compass spins faster than a fidget spinner. She's always stressed, it's truly exhausting.

Seriously, every time she's on screen, I just want to hide behind a couch and wait for the walkers to arrive.

Shane's Shenanigans Begin

Shane is up to no good in this one. You can smell the crazy brewing.

The cracks in his facade are widening. He's starting to go full villain. And we get to see his descent into darkness.

It's compelling. But also makes you cringe and want to yell at the TV.

Final Verdict: Worth Watching (But Maybe Fast Forward Sometimes)

So, "Cherokee Rose." It's a mixed bag. A zombie buffet with some stale bread on the side.

It's essential for the overall story arc. But some parts could've been trimmed. Just saying.

I still watch it. Because I'm a Walking Dead addict. But I might fast forward through Lori's scenes.
