The Walking Dead Season 11 Ep 4 Cast

Who Showed Up to the Party? (And Who Didn't?)
Okay, let's talk The Walking Dead Season 11 Episode 4. "Rendition," right? Remember that one? It had Daryl doing... Daryl things.
The cast list wasn't HUGE, but some faces popped up that had us yelling at the TV. In a good way, mostly.
The Usual Suspects: Our Core Crew
First, of course, there's Norman Reedus as Daryl Dixon. Duh! He's practically glued to the screen. And let's be real, he's the reason half of us are still watching. Just saying.
Must Read
Then we've got Melissa McBride as Carol Peletier. Queen Carol! Always plotting, always surviving. She's the grandma you definitely want on your side during the apocalypse.
Lauren Cohan as Maggie Rhee made an appearance, looking as tough as ever. Seriously, who messes with Maggie? Nobody smart, that's who.

The Reapers: Scary Folks Alert!
This episode heavily featured the Reapers. That meant more screen time for Richie Coster as Pope. Creepy, right? Like, major "don't trust this guy" vibes.
We also saw more of Okea Eme-Akwari as Ahmadi. Now, Ahmadi... he's got a slightly different vibe than Pope. Maybe, just maybe, a tiny shred of decency? (Unpopular opinion, I know!).
And let's not forget Alicia Witt as Paula. Another Reaper, adding to the overall "we're going to kill you all" atmosphere.

Minor Players, Major Impact?
We also saw a few other Reapers fleshing out the ranks, names like Cameron Roberts as Griggs. Did they have lines? Maybe. Did they make an impact? Eh, debatable.
There's also Jacob Young as the guard who gets taken out early on, maybe it's just me, but I felt bad for the poor guy.

Where Were Some of Our Favorites?
Okay, now for the important question: where were some people? No Negan? I missed his snarky comments. Was he off having a tea party somewhere? Probably not.
And what about Gabriel? He's been MIA lately. Hope he's not off getting eaten by walkers somewhere. That would be a downer.
Also, let's be honest, anyone else secretly hoping for a surprise appearance from someone totally unexpected? Like, Rick coming back? Okay, I know, I know... keep dreaming.

The Verdict: Cast of "Rendition"
Overall, the cast in "Rendition" did what they needed to do. They brought the intensity. They brought the drama. And they definitely brought the "oh my god, are they going to make it?" feeling.
Did it miss some key players? Sure. But did it deliver on the Reaper storyline? Absolutely. Now, bring on the next episode!
Because frankly, if there are Reapers, I hope that Daryl and Carol come out on top. I also hope the production team will provide more Negan snark, or at least have Gabriel make an appearance again!
