The Real Housewives Of Atlanta Season 14 Episode 2

Bye Wig, Hello Drama! (My Take on RHOA S14 Ep 2)
Okay, people, let's talk about Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 14, Episode 2. I know, I know, we're a little behind, but better late than never, right?
And let me just say, this episode was a rollercoaster of emotions. Mostly, my emotion was "mild amusement with a side of second-hand embarrassment."
The Kandi Factory (of Shade!)
First up, Kandi is, as always, hustling. That woman never stops! But this time, it's not just music; it's...costumes?
Must Read
I'm not entirely sure what's happening with her "adult playground" idea, but it looked intense. And potentially expensive. Maybe I'm just jealous I don't have an adult playground.
And then there's the drama with Marlo not inviting Kandi to her wig party. Okay, so maybe wig parties aren't my thing, but it definitely felt like a snub. Poor Kandi!
"It's okay, Kandi, you're amazing, successful, and probably have better things to do than admire someone else's hairpiece anyway."
Marlo's Wig-tastic Event (and the Fall-Out)
Speaking of Marlo, her wig party was… something. So many wigs! So much potential for a tangled mess! I'm pretty sure there were more wigs than people.

I'm not going to lie, some of those wigs were fierce. But was it worth the drama? Probably not. Especially when Sheree shows up and the tension is palpable.
And then the reason for the tension is brought up: the whole "Sheree didn't pay her assistant" situation. Seriously? Is this high school? Grow up, ladies!
Sheree vs. the Assistant: A Classic Housewives Tale
Okay, so Sheree didn't pay her assistant. Allegedly. We all know how these things go. There are always two sides to every story. And usually, a third side involving bad editing and reality TV manipulation.

I have to say, Sheree's defense was…weak. Saying she didn't have the money? Girl, you're on Real Housewives! You're supposed to pretend you're rich, even if you're not!
But honestly, I don't really care about the assistant drama. What I DO care about is the delicious shade being thrown around. I live for this!
Drew Sidora: Still Searching for a Storyline?
I'm sorry, but does anyone else feel like Drew Sidora is constantly searching for a storyline? I'm not trying to be mean, but her scenes felt…forced. Like she was trying too hard.

The whole "my marriage is perfect" act? Give me a break. No marriage is perfect! Especially not on reality TV. And the weird flirting with the photographer? Awkward.
I feel bad saying it, but Drew needs to bring something more to the table. Maybe a wig party? Just kidding (sort of).
Unpopular Opinion Time: I'm Kind of on Marlo's Side (This Time)
Okay, here's my unpopular opinion: I'm kind of on Marlo's side. Just a little bit. Maybe it's the wig party spectacle, or maybe she just finally feels like she is truly a cast member now. Regardless, she owned this episode.

Don't get me wrong, she's definitely messy. But she's entertaining. And sometimes, that's all I ask for from a Real Housewife.
She came in like a wrecking ball of shade. Okay, maybe not a wrecking ball, more like a politely delivered, but passive-aggressive, comment. But still! Progress!
Overall, Season 14 episode 2 delivered the drama, the shade, and the ridiculously expensive wigs. It also left me with more questions than answers. Like, seriously, what is Kandi's adult playground going to be like?
I'm ready for the next episode! Bring on the theatrics!
