The Boys Season 3 Episode 5 123 Movies

So, You Watched "The Boys" S3E5 on... Somewhere?
Okay, let's be honest. We've all been there. You're desperate for the next episode of The Boys. Maybe you accidentally stumbled upon it on a site that rhymes with "one-two-three movie." No judgment here. (Okay, maybe a little.)
Episode 5, right? "The Last Time to Look on This World of Lies." Intense stuff. But was it really that good? This is where my unpopular opinion comes in. Buckle up.
Homelander: Still Terrifying, Still Boring?
Everyone's obsessed with Homelander. Sure, he's got the crazy eyes and the mommy issues. He's a walking, talking, milk-chugging disaster.
Must Read
But sometimes, his villainy feels a little... predictable? I mean, we know he's going to do something awful. The surprise is gone. It's like ordering pizza and being shocked when it arrives with cheese.
The Herogasm Hype: Was It Worth It?
Okay, Herogasm. The infamous superhero orgy. Everyone was talking about it. Did it live up to the hype?

Honestly? It was... fine. A bit chaotic, a bit gross. But mostly, just... fine. I was expecting something truly shocking. Maybe my expectations were too high?
Did it advance the plot? Sort of. Was it memorable? Definitely. But did I need to see it? Probably not. Especially not on a dodgy streaming site with questionable picture quality.
Butcher's Downward Spiral: Now We're Talking
Now, Butcher, on the other hand. That's a character I can get behind. He's messed up, he's brutal, and he's slowly killing himself to get back at supes. Delicious irony!

His use of Temp V is a fascinating, albeit terrifying, development. You can practically see the desperation eating away at him. Is he becoming the very thing he swore to destroy? That's good TV!
MM's Angst: Relatable, But...
Mother's Milk (MM) is the moral compass of the group. He's always worried, always trying to do the right thing. We get it, MM. You have anxiety.
While his heart is in the right place, sometimes his constant worrying can be a bit of a drag. Lighten up, dude! You're fighting super-powered psychos! A little dark humor wouldn't hurt.

The Deep: Still the Worst (But Hilariously So)
The Deep. Oh, The Deep. He's the character you love to hate. He's sleazy, he's pathetic, and he's utterly convinced he's a good person.
Every scene with The Deep is pure gold. He's the perfect comedic relief in a show that's often incredibly dark. Keep swimming, buddy. (Away from me.)
Overall: A Decent Episode, But Not the Best
So, "The Last Time to Look on This World of Lies." Good episode? Yes. Amazing episode? Maybe not. It set the stage for the rest of the season, for sure.

Maybe watching it on a less-than-legal website tainted my experience. Possibly. But hey, at least I didn't have to pay for it... right?
Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go rewatch it on a legitimate streaming service. Just to be sure. 😉
