Okay, confession time. I didn't exactly rush home to watch online immediately after The Bachelor Season 24 Episode 2 aired. There, I said it.

Don't get me wrong. I love drama. I love questionable decisions. But... pilot puns? I think I reached my limit pretty early on.

Remember Champagne-gate? Ugh. Honestly, does anyone actually care anymore?

I mean, someone popped a bottle of champagne. Someone else got mad. Seems pretty standard Bachelor fare to me.

My unpopular opinion? The champagne probably tasted terrible anyway. Reality TV champagne always seems suspect, right?

Those group dates! Always a highlight. Always gloriously awkward.

This season, the challenges seemed extra… intense? Like, who came up with these things?

I'm pretty sure I’d trip and fall within the first five seconds of most of them. Maybe that's why I watch from the comfort of my couch.

The rose ceremony. The moment of truth. The dramatic pauses that last approximately three years.

Did your favorite girl get sent home? Mine didn't, but I'm still slightly traumatized by the whole "will they/won't they" build-up.

Seriously, ABC, you need to give us a "Previously On..." for rose ceremony anxiety. It's a real thing!

Let's be real. Peter Weber's season was... memorable. But not always for the right reasons.

He seemed constantly torn between, like, 27 different women. Talk about indecisive!

And don't even get me started on the "windmill" situation. Still makes me cringe a little.

So, why do we keep tuning in? Why do we keep refreshing our browsers to watch online the next day?

It's the train wreck effect, isn't it? We can't look away. We're invested in the drama.

Plus, where else are we going to get our weekly dose of ridiculously staged romance and questionable fashion choices?

Season 24 Episode 2: another chapter in the never-ending saga of The Bachelor.

Will I watch online next week? Probably. Will I complain about it the whole time? Almost definitely.

But hey, that's what makes it fun, right? Right?
