Okay, let's talk about That Time I Was Reincarnated As A Slime Season 3. It's finally here! We've waited patiently (or not so patiently for some of us). The hype train left the station a long time ago.

Everyone loves Rimuru, right? I mean, who doesn't want to be a ridiculously powerful slime? Seriously, the guy's got it made. He's got friends, he's got power, he's got that whole "nation-building" thing going on.

The New Season Is Here!

So, Season 3 is dropping. What's the verdict? I think it's… good! But maybe not as good as some people are making it out to be.

Don't get me wrong, I'm enjoying it. I am. It's still Slime. However, something feels a little different this time around.

Pacing Problems? Maybe?

Am I the only one who thinks the pacing is a tad slow? We spend a lot of time setting things up. So much politics!.

Remember the first season? Action! Intrigue! A giant freakin' dragon! This time, it's a bit more…diplomatic. I like seeing Rimuru as a leader, but I miss the simpler monster-fighting days.

Okay, unpopular opinion time. I kind of miss the early seasons when the story was simpler. Anyone else feel that way?

The Characters: Love 'Em or Hate 'Em?

Let’s talk about the new characters. There are always new faces popping up in Slime. Some are amazing, some are…meh.

We got some powerful enemies. They look intimidating, that's for sure. And then we've got new allies. A few of them seem to be a little bit... underdeveloped.

I need more time to get invested in them. Give me compelling backstories, please! Maybe that's just me being impatient though.

Diablo: Still the Best Boy?

Okay, Diablo fans, rise up! He’s still awesome. I love his devotion to Rimuru. It's equal parts hilarious and terrifying.

He is by far one of my favorite characters in the entire show. He's just... over-the-top. He’s the perfect chaotic evil sidekick.

But seriously, is it just me or is he even more powerful this season? I swear, every episode he seems to unlock some new ability. Is there anything he can't do?

Final Thoughts (For Now)

Season 3 is shaping up to be interesting. I'm definitely going to keep watching. I need to know what happens next!

Maybe my expectations were too high. That's always a possibility. It’s still a fun isekai adventure with a super overpowered slime. What's not to love?

So, yeah, I'm still a fan of That Time I Was Reincarnated As A Slime. Even with its slower pace and slightly less impactful new characters. Let’s just hope the second half of this season really knocks our socks off!
