That Time I Got Reincarnated As A Slime Watch List

Okay, folks, let's talk Slime. We all love That Time I Got Reincarnated As A Slime, right? But let's be honest, some arcs are pure gold, while others… well, let's just say I fast-forwarded a little bit.
My Totally Unbiased Slime Watch List (Brace Yourselves!)
S-Tier: Must-Watch, Will Re-Watch, My Precious
This is where the magic happens. This is the stuff that made me fall in love with Rimuru and his ever-growing kingdom. Prepare for zero complaints!
The early episodes? Chef's kiss! Witnessing Rimuru's birth and his first interactions with Veldora were pure joy. It built the foundation for everything that followed.
Must Read
Then there's the whole Jura Forest Alliance arc. Gathering allies, outsmarting enemies...it's peak Slime. Especially when Rimuru names everyone. So satisfying!
And who can forget the fight against Orc Disaster Geld? A fantastic blend of action, strategy, and emotional stakes. I get chills every time Rimuru uses Predator.
A-Tier: Really Good, Worth Your Time, Probably Re-Watch
These arcs are great! Maybe not perfect, but definitely worth a watch (or two). They have amazing moments and important plot developments.

The Charybdis arc is here. I loved seeing the kids finally coming into their own. And Rimuru's dedication to them? Heartwarming!
The arrival of the Demon Lords definitely spiced things up. Seeing the politics and power plays among them was fascinating. Who's your favorite? Mine is Milim Nava!
The Falmuth invasion also sits here. It was dark, gritty, and showcased Rimuru's growing power. It's a major turning point for the series.

B-Tier: Decent, Not Bad, Skimmable
Okay, this is where things get controversial. These arcs aren't bad, but they're not exactly my favorites either. I wouldn’t feel bad if you sped through them a tad.
The Dwargon stuff? It's fine. We get some world-building and learn about the dwarves. It’s not essential viewing, though.
The early monster settlements building... slow. Seeing Rimuru's town slowly grow is nice, but it can drag sometimes. Especially the endless explanations of infrastructure.
The fight against Hinata Sakaguchi is important. I will give it that, but the pacing felt a bit off for me. Needed more drama!

C-Tier: Skippable, Snoozefest, Maybe Just Read A Summary
Alright, brace yourselves. These are the arcs I personally found… less engaging. I’m probably gonna get crucified for this, but here goes nothing!
The whole Western Holy Church subplot? Snoozeville! It's not that it's bad, just…boring. Give me more monster action, please!
The political maneuvering often drags. I respect the need for world building but sometimes I just need action!

Honestly, any episode that focuses too much on explaining skills and abilities? Hard pass. My brain can only handle so much terminology!
D-Tier: Nope, Not For Me, Straight To The Trash
Is it even possible to have a D-Tier Slime arc? I hope not. I honestly believe there's something enjoyable in every arc for someone, even if it's just a cool animation sequence. But if I had to pick... maybe some of the overly convoluted political stuff?
Okay, okay, hear me out. While important, the initial exploration of the Great Forest of Jura could be slow at times. But it's still important to understanding the world of Slime.
So, that's my list! Don't hate me. Remember, this is just my humble opinion. What are your favorite (and least favorite) arcs of That Time I Got Reincarnated As A Slime? Let me know!
