Tensei Shitara Slime Season 2 Episode 13

Okay, let's talk That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime. Specifically, Season 2, Episode 13. We all watched it. Some of us loved it. Some… didn't.

So, Here's My Hot Take...

It wasn’t amazing. I said it! Hear me out before you sharpen your pitchforks.

It felt like a setup episode, right? We get it, things are brewing. Rimuru is getting stronger. But... things felt a little slow.

Did we really need another meeting montage? Honestly, my attention span started to wander around minute five.

Don't get me wrong, I love seeing Rimuru being all leader-y. But I was itching for some slime-on-monster action.

And the Clayman stuff? We all knew he was a jerk. It felt like they were just dragging things out. Cue dramatic music.

Speaking of Clayman... am I the only one who finds him unintentionally hilarious? He’s trying so hard to be evil.

But he just comes across as a whiny brat throwing a tantrum. Someone get him a pacifier, stat!

His whole plan seems… poorly thought out, to say the least. Seriously, dude needs a better strategy.

Remember when the show was just pure, unadulterated fun? Gobta antics? Shion's "cooking"? I missed that.

The episode just felt a bit... serious. Which, yeah, I get it. War is coming. Stakes are high. Blah blah blah.

But a little levity wouldn’t hurt! Even in the face of impending doom, a slime can crack a joke, right?

Look, I’m not saying it was a bad episode. It just wasn't a standout. More like a bridge to something better.

I'm trusting that all this setup is leading to a truly epic showdown. I’m talking Rimuru unleashing his full slime-y power!

And I'm praying for more moments with the Tempest crew. Their interactions are the heart of the show, after all.

Maybe I'm being too harsh. Maybe I just had high expectations. It's Slime, I want to be entertained! I crave excitement!

So, there it is. My slightly lukewarm take on Season 2, Episode 13. Don’t hate me!

I still love Slime. I'm just hoping the next episodes bring back the spark. And maybe a little less talking, a little more slime-slinging.
