Tenchi Muyo War On Geminar Season 2
Okay, let's talk about something maybe a little controversial. You know, the anime that some people quietly adore: Tenchi Muyo! War on Geminar.
Specifically, where's season 2? Is it just me, or does it feel like it vanished into the interdimensional folds of space-time?
Geminar: A Forgotten Giant Robot Harem?
Seriously, remember how cool Geminar started? Giant robots! Alternate dimensions! Tenchi's half-brother getting all the ladies!
Must Read
It was a wild ride. It had the Tenchi Muyo! charm, but with a darker, more mecha-focused twist.
But then... crickets. Did everyone just collectively decide to forget about it? It’s weird!
The Cliffhanger That Never Ended
Let’s be honest, that ending was a bit of a stinger. Things were just getting interesting.

Kenshi was starting to figure things out. The political intrigue was heating up! And the girls were getting jealous!
We were promised a continuation of the interdimensional harem shenanigans. What happened to that promise?
My Unpopular Geminar Opinions
Prepare yourselves. I'm about to say some things that might ruffle some feathers.
I actually liked War on Geminar. There, I said it! It wasn't perfect, sure. But it had potential! The characters, the mecha design...it was unique.

And, dare I say it, I might have even enjoyed it more than some of the later Tenchi Muyo! OVAs. Don't @ me!
Reasons Why a Season 2 Should Exist (Maybe)
Okay, hear me out. Think of all the possibilities! We could explore more of the world of Geminar.
Maybe even get some cool crossovers with the main Tenchi Muyo! universe. Imagine Tenchi meeting Kenshi. Hilarious chaos would ensue!
Plus, we need resolution! What happens with Kenshi and all his potential brides? Does he ever find his way back home? The questions plague me!

The Hopeful, Yet Realistic, Conclusion
Look, I know the chances of a Geminar season 2 are probably slimmer than Washu's ego after a successful experiment. Time has passed.
But a fan can dream, right? Maybe one day, some brave studio will resurrect this forgotten gem. Maybe they'll continue the story.
Until then, I'll just keep rewatching the first season, pretending that cliffhanger isn't slowly driving me insane. At least we still have Tenchi Masaki right?
So What Now?
Ultimately, the lack of a Geminar Season 2 just feels like a missed opportunity. AIC, are you listening?

It had a dedicated (albeit small) fanbase. It had interesting characters. It had giant robots! It had interdimensional craziness!
So, to anyone who feels the same way, let's raise a glass (of melon soda, naturally) to the hope that one day, War on Geminar will get the continuation it deserves.
Or, you know, at least a decent explanation of what the heck happened at the end of season 1. We can dream, can’t we?
Maybe, just maybe, someday Kenshi Masaki will return to our screens.
