Okay, Let's Talk Strictly Season 19, Episode 1!

Right, week one of Strictly Come Dancing. Glitter cannons fired! Sequins were blinding! Was it just me, or was everyone just a little... nervous?

I mean, completely understandable. Imagine having to remember steps while millions watch. Talk about pressure!

Everyone's already obsessed with Rose Ayling-Ellis and Giovanni Pernice. And rightly so! She's amazing and a history maker!

But am I the only one who thought their Jive was... good? Not GREAT? Maybe I'm just being a grumpy old man. My unpopular opinion alarm is ringing!

John Whaite and Johannes Radebe danced a Tango that could cut glass. So sharp! So dramatic!

They are clearly a force to be reckoned with! And their partnership is just joyful to watch.

Is it too early to say they're going to be in the final? Probably. But I'm saying it anyway!

AJ Odudu and Kai Widdrington? Wowza! That Jive was a revelation. Total surprise package!

Seriously, who knew she had that in her? Major respect. They were all energy.

Poor Dan Walker. bless him. He seemed like a lovely man! And Nadiya Bychkova is a queen.

However, his Quickstep was a bit… beige? Safe! But hey, it's week one. Room to grow!

Okay, Sara Davies and Aljaž Škorjanec. Their Cha Cha Cha was decent. Did anyone else feel like they were really trying?!

They might be ones to watch. If they find their confidence, they could surprise us all.

Rhys Stephenson and Nancy Xu brought the energy! Although, I got a little lost in the steps. Sorry! Too quick for me!

Tilly Ramsay and Nikita Kuzmin were adorable. Their Waltz had such youthful charm.

Right, here goes... Is it just me, or are some of the pros being overly critical for week one? Like, chill out guys! It's supposed to be fun!

And another one: Are we SURE everyone is equally matched? Some pairings just seem... a bit uneven? Don't @ me!

Despite my nitpicking, I'm officially hooked. Strictly is back where it belongs on my TV.

Give me the drama, the sequins, the questionable spray tans! And please, please, please, more Bruno Tonioli impressions.
