Strictly Come Dancing Christmas Special 2021 Lineup

Okay, let's be honest. Christmas TV, love it or hate it, it's a THING.
And a Strictly Christmas Special? Practically a national institution! Remember 2021?
The Sparkling Six: A Trip Down Memory Lane
Ah, 2021. What a year! And the Strictly Come Dancing Christmas Special lineup? Well, it was... interesting.
Must Read
First up, the soaps!
We had Jay Blades! Yes, the furniture fixer! He brought some serious charm to the dance floor.
And Fred Sirieix, First Dates star, attempted to seduce the judges with his moves. I mean, he tried. Bless him!
Then came Adrian Chiles, a TV presenter of some renown.
Was he smooth like silk? Nope. Was he entertaining? Absolutely!

The Singers and…Other Stars
Let's not forget the talented Mel Giedroyc! I feel she nailed it.
But it was Moira Stuart who really surprised me. She was fierce! Who knew?
And lastly Anne-Marie, the pop sensation. You know, she's actually a dancer? So, yeah, unfair advantage much?
My (Possibly) Unpopular Opinions
Okay, here's where things might get controversial.

I love Fred Sirieix but did anyone else think his routine was a bit… awkward? It's just a thought!
Don't get me wrong, the man has charisma by the bucketload. But maybe dancing isn't his forte?
And another one. I actually preferred some of the "non-dancers" to the actual singers!
There is something inherently hilarious about watching someone completely out of their comfort zone trying their best.

It's the sheer joy of the attempt that makes it so watchable! Who agree with me?
The Real Winner: Christmas Cheer
Look, at the end of the day, who actually won the Glitterball trophy is almost irrelevant.
It's about the sequins, the fake tan, and the sheer festive joy of it all.
The Strictly Come Dancing Christmas Special is a reminder to not take things too seriously. And to embrace the silly season with open arms.

Who cares if someone's footwork is a bit wonky? Or if they look like they're about to faceplant into the judges' table?
It's all part of the fun! And let's be honest, we all secretly love a bit of a car crash TV.
So bring on the dodgy dance moves, the questionable costumes, and the cheesy Christmas music!
I'm ready for another year of Strictly festive fun. Are you?
