Boiling Point: Kitchen Nightmares, But Make It Fancy

First up, there was Boiling Point. Intense, right? One continuous shot of kitchen chaos. My palms were sweating just watching.

Okay, unpopular opinion time. I liked it, but did it need to be quite so stressful? My pizza tasted burnt afterwards, and I ordered takeout.

He played the head chef. You could feel the pressure cooking (pun intended). He just needed a hug and a spa day. Someone get that man some cucumber slices!

Help: A Powerful Performance, A Hard Watch

Then there was Help with Jodie Comer. A totally different vibe. Tackling the pandemic's impact on a care home. Heavy stuff.

Brilliant acting, no doubt. But man, that was tough to watch. My heart was in my throat the whole time.

Graham and Comer were amazing together. But sometimes, I just need something a little... lighter. Like a cat video.

Code 404: A Bit of Silliness Among the Serious

Ah, Code 404. Remember that? A comedy! Sort of. Stephen Graham playing a copper resurrected as a robot.

Okay, I know, it wasn't exactly Shakespeare. But after Boiling Point and Help, I needed a laugh! A robot copper? I'm in.

It's pure, unadulterated silliness. Perfect for switching off your brain. Sometimes, that's exactly what the doctor ordered.

Time: Prison Drama That Got Under Our Skin

And let's not forget Time. Another serious role. Prison drama with Sean Bean. Grim.

Stephen Graham played a prison officer. Torn between doing his job and being a decent human. Talk about a tough spot.

It was gripping, compelling. Made you think about the prison system. But also made me want to watch puppies playing in a park. For balance.

So, was Stephen Graham the king of our screens in 2021? Undeniably, he was everywhere! And he was fantastic in everything he did.

But (and this is my unpopular opinion) maybe it was a bit too much? A bit too intense?

I mean, I love Stephen Graham, I really do. But sometimes, you just need a break from the intensity, you know? A bit of fluff. A rom-com. A baking show.

Maybe 2022 could be the year of Stephen Graham doing a lighthearted travel show? Just a thought. Somewhere sunny. With lots of ice cream. I'd watch it.

Don't get me wrong, the man is a legend. But even legends need a holiday. And maybe, so did we, from all the intensity!
