Stay Close How Many Episodes In Season 1

Stay Close How Many Episodes In Season 1

Okay, let’s talk Stay Close. Did you binge it? Of course, you did! Everyone did. But how long were we glued to our screens?

The Big Question: How Many Episodes?

Season 1 of Stay Close has eight episodes. Eight! Seems like a lot, right? Or maybe not enough? Depends on who you ask, I guess.

Eight episodes to unravel all that mystery. Eight episodes to figure out who did what. Eight episodes to become completely obsessed.

My Unpopular Opinion?

Here's where I get controversial. I think it could have been shorter. Gasp! I know, I know, hear me out.

Sometimes less is more, right? A tighter storyline, a quicker pace? Maybe six really gripping episodes would have been even better.

Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed Stay Close. Paula, Megan, Ray, the whole gang! But there were moments it felt… stretched.

Did we really need every single scene? Could some of the subplots have been trimmed? I think so. Just my humble opinion.

Binge-Watching Blues (or Joys?)

Binge-watching is a beast. It sucks you in. You lose track of time. Suddenly, it's 3 AM and you've got to be up for work in four hours.

Eight episodes encourages that behavior. It’s practically begging you to sacrifice sleep. The temptation is real!

A shorter season? Maybe I could have maintained some semblance of a normal sleep schedule. A girl can dream, right?

Analyzing the Episodes

Each episode had its purpose. Character development, plot twists, red herrings galore! They definitely kept us guessing.

But did every episode pack the same punch? That's debatable. Some felt like filler. Others were absolutely critical.

The final episode? Now that was a banger! But getting there felt like a bit of a marathon at times. A slightly padded marathon.

The Verdict?

Stay Close is a solid thriller. Great cast, interesting story, lots of suspense. No doubt about it.

But the episode count? For me, it’s a tad too high. Six episodes of pure, unadulterated suspense? That would have been perfection.

What do you think? Am I crazy? Did you love all eight episodes? Let me know! I'm ready for a debate!

Would I Watch Season 2 (If There Was One)?

Absolutely! Despite my minor gripes, I was hooked. I need to know what happens next! I need more Megan drama!

Hopefully, if there is a season 2, they'll consider a slightly tighter format. Just a thought!

But hey, I'll probably binge it regardless. Because that's what we do, right? We can’t help ourselves!

“Stay Close, they said. Eight episodes later, I'm emotionally invested and sleep-deprived!”

So, there you have it. Eight episodes of Stay Close. Enjoy them! (Or enjoy them even more if there were only six…just saying!).
