Star Wars Clone Wars Episode 10 Season 7

Okay, let's talk Clone Wars. Specifically, Season 7 Episode 10: "The Phantom Apprentice." It's iconic. But… is it perfect? I'm not so sure.
Maul's Back, Alright!
Seriously, Maul. What a villain! He's got the cool voice, the intimidating look, and a serious vendetta.
Seeing him back and battling Ahsoka is undeniably awesome. No arguments there. He's definitely the main villain now.
Must Read
But, the Plot Thickens... A Bit Too Much?
Here's where my unpopular opinion comes in. Is anyone else slightly confused by the whole Mandalore situation? Bo-Katan's involved, obviously. So are some other Mandalorians.
They all have their own factions and agendas. Figuring out who's on whose side feels like homework sometimes. And how many times do we have to see Mandalore get taken over?

Ahsoka vs. Maul: Epic Fight, But...
Okay, the lightsaber duel is amazing. The choreography? Top-notch! The music? Goosebumps!
But...do you ever think the setting of the fight is weird? It's that crazy futuristic room. Too much going on! Like a hyper-stylized laser tag.
I almost wish they'd fought somewhere simpler. Maybe just in the streets of Mandalore? Let's be real. Location of duel is weird.

The Foreshadowing Hurts
This episode is packed with hints about Order 66. We all know what's coming. The dread is palpable.
Seeing Ahsoka and the clones working together so well makes it even more tragic. It's almost cruel. Is there a way of stopping it?
Knowing their fates adds a layer of sadness that's hard to ignore. Maybe I'm just sensitive.

The Verdict?
Don't get me wrong, "The Phantom Apprentice" is a great episode. It has action, drama, and Maul being incredibly cool. Let's not forget about it.
It's visually stunning. Dave Filoni is a god for real.
My Mild Disappointment
The political complexities. The distracting setting. The overwhelming sense of impending doom. Those things just stop me from calling it a perfect Clone Wars episode.

Maybe I'm nitpicking. Maybe I need to rewatch it again (for the tenth time). But it's always good to give some constructive critisicm.
What are your thoughts? Am I completely wrong? Or do you secretly agree with my slightly heretical opinions?
Let me know! It's all good. But Maul is cool in general.
