Isn't It A Little... Late?

Seriously, though. Remember when we all lost our minds trying to avoid spoilers? That was like, a lifetime ago in internet years.

Now it's dropping on Disney+? The excitement feels... deflated, like a week-old birthday balloon.

I mean, I already own the Blu-ray. Twice.

We've All Seen It, Right?

Let's be honest, who hasn't seen No Way Home at this point? I'm pretty sure even my grandma knows about Tobey and Andrew.

And she mostly watches baking shows.

It felt like everyone in the world has seen the movie.

Is Disney+ Just Catching Up?

Is Disney+ just trying to prove they can have the big movies too? Like a kid showing off their new toy?

Maybe they're feeling a little left out of the streaming wars.

I can understand this approach but a bit late to the game.

Where's the Surprise?

Remember the buzz around The Mandalorian? Or WandaVision?

Those shows were fresh and exciting. No Way Home? It's old news in blockbuster terms.

Feels more like a delayed delivery than a premiere.

The Upside, I Guess

Okay, okay, I'm being a bit cynical. There are some good things about this.

Like, maybe my little cousin who just discovered superheroes can finally watch it.

And, hey, easy access for re-watches is never a bad thing. Especially the Andrew Garfield scenes. We all agree on that, right?

But Seriously, I Expected More

From Disney+, I mean. I was hoping for a new Marvel series. Or at least some deep-dive behind-the-scenes content.

Not a movie that everyone and their dog has already streamed, bought, and analyzed frame-by-frame.

Maybe next time, Disney+, let’s get a little more… timely, eh?

So, Spider-Man: No Way Home is coming to Disney+. Great.

But color me unimpressed. I'll probably still watch it again, though. I'm only human.

Don't judge me, because I am a Spidey fan through and through.

So What Now?

Well, I'm going to go watch Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse again. On Blu-ray.

Because at least that still feels a little fresh.
