Sons Of Anarchy Season 6 Episode 1 Free

Okay, let's talk about something potentially controversial. Something that might make some Sons of Anarchy fans clutch their pearls. Are you ready?
Season 6, Episode 1: It's...Fine?
I know, I know. Hear me out. Everyone seems to hail "Straw" as some kind of masterpiece. But honestly? It's not my absolute fave.
Don't get me wrong, it's Sons of Anarchy. There's still plenty of grit and drama. Jax is still brooding, Tara is still stressed, and Clay is, well, being Clay.
Must Read
The School Shooting: Necessary Evil or Sensationalism?
The big elephant in the room, of course, is the school shooting. This is where a lot of people either loved it or hated it. There wasn’t much in between.
I get the impact. I truly do. It's shocking, it's horrific, and it sets the tone for a dark season. But did it really need to be so...graphic?
For me, it felt a tad exploitative. Like they were trying a little too hard to be edgy. Some viewers felt this event overshadows the usual gang issues.

"Straw" left me feeling icky instead of gripped. – Me, a possibly unpopular opinion haver.
Maybe I’m just sensitive. Maybe I prefer my motorcycle gang drama with a slightly lighter touch. After all, how much darkness can one stomach?
Jax Teller: The King of Bad Decisions (Again)
Jax's downward spiral is a major plot point, of course. We see him wrestling with leadership and morality.
But let’s be honest, Jax has been making questionable choices since season one. By season six, it's almost expected. The shock value dwindles a bit.

Is anyone genuinely surprised when he does something shady? I feel like we’re all just sitting there saying, "Yep, there he goes again."
Tara's Torment: When Will This Woman Catch a Break?
Poor Tara. Seriously. This woman has been through the wringer. And "Straw" just throws her deeper into the pit.
The scene with the custody papers? Heartbreaking. Maggie Siff’s acting is always top-notch, but it’s almost too much sometimes. I found myself reaching for the mute button!
It’s just a constant barrage of suffering for her. I'm starting to think she should have just moved to Maine. Maybe open a bakery.

Clay Morrow: Still Hating Him, Still Entertained
Okay, I'll admit it. I kind of love hating Clay. He’s such a fantastic villain. Ron Perlman just chews the scenery in the best way possible.
Even though he's locked up, he's still pulling strings. He’s a puppet master of manipulation. The sheer audacity is impressive.
But even Clay's villainy couldn't fully redeem the episode for me. He is evil, but I’m already so aware of his schemes.

Ultimately, It's Still Sons of Anarchy
Look, I'm not saying "Straw" is a bad episode. It's Sons of Anarchy. It's got bikes, blood, and betrayal. All the good stuff.
It just didn't quite hit the same high notes for me as some other episodes. Maybe it's the subject matter. Maybe it's my mood. Maybe I’m just weird.
But I'd rather re-watch Season 4 or even some earlier Season 1 episodes than revisit "Straw." Just my two cents. Now, bring on the hate mail!
What do you think? Did you love "Straw"? Or did you find it a little...much? Let's discuss (politely, please!).
