Sono Bisque Doll Wa Koi Wo Suru 2

Okay, hear me out. Sono Bisque Doll Wa Koi Wo Suru, or My Dress-Up Darling, is great. We all love it. But… is it perfect?
Maybe this is a hot take. Maybe I'm about to get cancelled. But a part of me wonders... is a season 2 REALLY necessary?
More Marin? Yes, Please! (But...)
Of course, I want more Marin Kitagawa! Who doesn't? She's adorable, energetic, and a total fashion icon.
Must Read
But part of the charm was how contained the first season felt. We got a clear arc for both Marin and Wakana Gojo.
It felt like a complete and satisfying story. Do we really need to tamper with that?
The Unpopular Opinion Begins...
Okay, here's where I might lose some of you. I liked the ending. It was sweet. It was open-ended. And that was… enough?

So many shows feel the need to drag things out. They keep going until the plot becomes convoluted and the characters unrecognizable.
My Dress-Up Darling avoided that trap. I appreciated that.
I'm not saying a second season can't be good. I’m just… nervous. The pressure is on!
What Could Season 2 Even Be About?
That's my main concern. The core conflict – Gojo overcoming his insecurities and Marin finding someone who appreciates her passion – was resolved.

Sure, there are more costumes to make. But can that alone sustain a whole season?
Will they introduce new characters? New rivals? A love triangle (please, no!)?
I trust the creators, I really do. But my anxiety levels are through the roof.
Maybe I'm Just Scared
Let's be honest. I'm probably just afraid of disappointment. I have very fond memories of season one.

I'm worried a second season might tarnish those memories, even just a little bit.
It's like when your favorite band releases a comeback album. You want it to be amazing, but you're also prepared for the worst.
Hope Remains!
Despite my reservations, I'm still cautiously optimistic. The first season was genuinely special.
If anyone can pull off a great season two, it's the team behind My Dress-Up Darling.

Maybe they'll surprise me. Maybe they'll take the story in a fresh and exciting direction. I certainly hope so!
I'll be watching with bated breath. And maybe a little bit of fear. But mostly, I'll be hoping for the best for Gojo and Marin.
I still hold the opinion that S1 wrapped up perfectly, but I wouldn't want to miss another adorable Marin moment. I'll watch S2 anyway.
So, tell me: Am I alone in feeling this way? Or are there others out there who share my (potentially unpopular) opinion?
