So You Think You Can Dance Cast 2022

Okay, let's talk So You Think You Can Dance, specifically the 2022 season. It had its moments, right? Some amazing talent, some questionable judging, and enough glitter to blind a small horse.

The Dancers: Hits and (Unpopular Opinion Alert!) Misses

Let's be real, not every dancer was created equal. We had our frontrunners, the ones the judges clearly adored. And then we had the ones who seemed like they were just… there.

Some Standouts (For Me, Anyway)

I'm going to say it: I was rooting for Keaton Kermode. His energy was infectious. Plus, he could actually dance.

And don't even get me started on Alexis Warr Burton. That girl was a powerhouse! Her technical skills were insane. Plus, she had this amazing stage presence.

I mean, how could you not love her? She was like sunshine and pirouettes rolled into one.

Now For My Unpopular Opinion Section…

Okay, brace yourselves. I wasn't always completely sold on everyone else. Don't get me wrong, they were all talented. But sometimes it felt like some were getting by on charisma alone.

This is where I whisper names and hope the internet doesn't come for me. But hey, it's just my opinion! We're all allowed to have those, right?

The Judges: Bless Their Hearts

The judges were... interesting. We had some familiar faces, some new ones, and the usual doses of over-the-top praise and strangely specific critiques.

Did anyone else feel like they were sometimes watching a completely different performance than me? Seriously! It was like they had a secret dance decoder ring I wasn't privy to.

"That toe point, darling! It spoke to my soul!" - A hypothetical (but probably accurate) judge quote.

And don't even get me started on the guest judges. Some were great, adding insightful commentary. Others seemed like they were just there to promote their latest project.

The Choreography: From Brilliant to Baffling

The choreography was definitely a mixed bag. Some routines were breathtaking, pushing the dancers to their limits and showcasing their strengths. Others... well, let's just say I'm still trying to figure out what they were going for.

There were some routines I wanted to watch again and again. And others I wanted to forget ever happened. Like, was that interpretive dance about the struggles of a paperclip really necessary?

Overall: Still Guilty Pleasure Gold

Despite my nitpicking, I still loved So You Think You Can Dance 2022. It's a total guilty pleasure. The drama, the sparkly costumes, the occasional waterworks – what's not to love?

It's the perfect show to watch when you want to turn your brain off and just enjoy some incredible dancing (and some not-so-incredible dancing). Plus, it's a great excuse to eat snacks on the couch.

So, here's to the next season! May it be filled with even more amazing dancers, questionable judging, and routines that make us scratch our heads in confusion. And lots and lots of glitter, of course.
