The Wait Was Real

Remember waiting for the dub? It felt like forever! We were all hyped, ready to jump back into Naofumi's world.

The anticipation was palpable. I was practically vibrating with excitement!

Okay, unpopular opinion time. Episode 1 felt a tad...slow. Don't @ me!

It's like, we spent so much time recapping. We get it, Naofumi's been through a lot.

Maybe they wanted to ease us back in gently? But I was craving some action!

Then there's the Spirit Tortoise. Big, yeah. Scary? Debatable.

Honestly, I spent most of the episode trying to figure out what it actually was. It was a tortoise, but also a magical problem?

Someone needs to draw me a diagram. Seriously!

Now, the dub itself was solid. The voice actors are great.

Naofumi's snark? Still on point. Raphtalia's sweetness? Perfectly captured.

No complaints there. They delivered the lines well!

They introduced some new characters too, right? That girl following the spirit tortoise around? That old lady?

I'm not entirely sold on them yet. Hopefully, they'll become more interesting as the season progresses.

One thing I definitely can't complain about? The opening theme! It's a banger!
