Seven Deadly Sins Season 3 Bad Animation

Okay, let's talk about something potentially controversial. Something that still makes me chuckle (and cringe) a bit. Are we ready? Here we go!
Remember The Seven Deadly Sins Season 3?
It was supposed to be epic. We were all hyped. The story was getting intense. But... something was off.
Yeah, I'm talking about the animation. Specifically, the... unique animation choices in season 3.
Must Read
Did Someone Leave the Oven On?
Characters looked... melted sometimes. Remember that fight scene with Escanor? He looked less like the epitome of strength and more like a claymation figure left in the sun too long.
Maybe the animators were experimenting? Or maybe they were REALLY behind schedule. Either way, it gave us some unintentionally hilarious moments.
And don't even get me started on the repeated frames. We saw those punches coming a mile away. It was like watching a PowerPoint presentation during a final battle.

The Characters Deserved Better
Think about Meliodas. He's a demon prince with a tragic past. He's supposed to look cool and powerful.
Instead, there were scenes where his face looked like it was drawn by a five-year-old. No offense to five-year-olds, of course. They're probably better at drawing than I am!
And Elizabeth? Our kind and caring princess? Reduced to a blurry mess in some action sequences. It just felt... wrong.

Unpopular Opinion Alert!
Okay, I know, I know. Some people didn't mind it that much. Maybe they focused on the story. Maybe they appreciated the... artistic interpretation.
But for me? It was distracting. It took me out of the immersion. I wanted to cheer for the Sins, but sometimes I was too busy wondering what happened to their faces.
It's like ordering a gourmet burger and getting it served on a paper plate. The ingredients might be good, but the presentation leaves something to be desired.

Let's Laugh About It (But Also Maybe Cry a Little)
Look, I'm not saying the season was a total disaster. The story still had its moments. And hey, at least it gave us something to meme about.
But let's be honest: The animation was... questionable. It was a downgrade from previous seasons.
Maybe it's just me. Maybe I'm too picky. But I think The Seven Deadly Sins deserved better. And so did we, the viewers.

Season 4 Redemption?
Thankfully, things improved later on. Different studio, different style. It was a welcome change.
But season 3 will always hold a special place in my heart. A place filled with laughter, bewilderment, and a slight sense of disappointment.
So, let’s raise a glass (or a pint of ale) to the unintentionally hilarious animation of The Seven Deadly Sins season 3. May we never forget the melted faces and the repeated frames. Cheers!
