Okay, let's be honest. We all love What We Do In The Shadows. It’s hilarious. But… season 4? Did anyone else feel a tiny bit…off?

Baby Colin Robinson: A Necessary Evil?

Look, I adore Mark Proksch. He's comedic gold. But Baby Colin? It was…a choice. Did it really need to happen?

I get it. Comedy thrives on the absurd. A rapidly growing, energy-vampire baby is definitely absurd.

But sometimes, things get a bit too weird, even for vampires. Maybe just a teeny bit much. Did anyone else find the jokes getting stale with rapid aging?

Nandor's Eternal Quest for Love (and a Wedding)

Nandor the Relentless. More like Nandor the…Relationship-Obsessed? His search for a wife was... exhausting.

We get it, Nandor. You're lonely. Finding a good partner is hard, even if you're a powerful ancient vampire.

But the Djinn? The endless resurrections? It felt like the show was running in circles. It made me exhausted on his behalf.

Nadja's Vampire Nightclub: Missed Potential?

Nadja opening a vampire nightclub sounded amazing. It really did. So much potential for chaos and hilarious guest stars.

But did it really deliver? I feel like the nightclub plotline didn't quite reach its full, glorious potential.

Was anyone else hoping for more vampire drama and less…union negotiations? I wanted a darker party scene.

Guillermo's Secret: Still Waiting

Guillermo’s vampire-killing abilities have been teased for seasons. When will he become a vampire?

Seriously, show! Give the people what they want! Stop with the vampire-killing cliffhangers.

We're all rooting for Guillermo. He is everyone's favorite familiar. The anticipation is killing me more than a stake through the heart.

An Unpopular Opinion?

Maybe I'm being too harsh. Maybe I expect too much from my vampire sitcoms. I am just being critical.

I still laughed. I still enjoyed spending time with these characters. It is difficult to deny that they are funny.

But season 4 just felt…different. It felt like they were trying too hard to be different. It just wasn't up to par with the previous seasons.

Still Undead, Still Funny

Don't get me wrong, What We Do in the Shadows is still one of the funniest shows on television. The cast is amazing. The writing is sharp (mostly).

The jokes are still amusing. The stories are still compelling. We love them, and we want them to succeed.

Let's hope season 5 brings back the magic. Let us hope they rediscover some of their charm from the first season. And maybe, just maybe, less Baby Colin.
