Season 2 Episode 2 Only Murders In The Building Cast

Okay, let's talk Only Murders in the Building, Season 2, Episode 2. Specifically, the cast. You know, the people we either loved, hated, or were completely indifferent to.
The Usual Suspects (We Actually Like)
First off, gotta give it up for Steve Martin, Martin Short, and Selena Gomez. They're the core. The hilarious, crime-solving heart of the show.
Mabel Mora (Selena Gomez) continues to be a total badass. Seriously, she's so effortlessly cool. Love her wardrobe this season too.
Must Read
Charles-Haden Savage (Steve Martin) is wonderfully awkward. That awkwardness makes him so endearing.
Oliver Putnam (Martin Short) provides the over-the-top theatrics. Honestly, without him, things would be way too serious.
New Faces, New Drama
Then there's the additions to the cast. Some good, some...well, let's just say "interesting."

Alice Banks: My Unpopular Opinion
Okay, unpopular opinion time: I’m not entirely sold on Alice (Cara Delevingne). There's something about her that just feels...off. Maybe it's intentional for the plot.
I get that she's supposed to be mysterious and edgy. But right now, she feels more like a walking cliché. Sorry, not sorry.
Amy Schumer as...Herself?
Amy Schumer playing Amy Schumer? Meta. Kind of funny. Also, a little distracting.

It's like, are we supposed to see her as a character? Or as Amy Schumer? I'm confused!
Teddy & Theo Dimas: The Shady Duo
Nathan Lane is fantastic as Teddy Dimas. He's so effortlessly slimy and lovable. Seriously, I always want to see him again!
James Caverly as Theo Dimas is amazing. The use of ASL makes him so interesting and unique.

Minor Characters, Major Impact
Even the smaller roles shine! Detective Williams is great! Very professional.
Uma Heller? Brilliant. I want to know more about her!
Bunny Folger's bird? I wish I had a talking bird.

Overall Verdict: Episode 2 Cast
The core trio is still gold. Always charming and very delightful.
The new additions are...a mixed bag. Some great, some questionable.
Ultimately, everyone plays their part in the unfolding mystery. Making Only Murders in the Building a show worth watching.
So, what do you think? Who were your favorite characters in this episode? Agree or disagree with my Alice take? Let's discuss!
