Saint Seiya Warriors Of The Final Holy Battle

Ever heard of Saint Seiya? Imagine a bunch of teenagers in shiny armor punching gods in the face. That's basically the gist of it. And the movie, "Warriors of the Final Holy Battle" dials the absurdity up to eleven.
Gods Just Wanna Have Fun (and Conquer the World)
This time, it's not just one grumpy god trying to take over. We get four! Lucifer, not the actual one from the Bible, but close enough, is the big bad. He's got these four Fallen Angels, basically super-powered henchmen, doing his dirty work.
They are Eligor, Belzebuth, Astaroth, and Moa. Talk about a demonic boy band ready to rock the underworld! Their plan? Overthrow Athena, and then probably throw a really evil party.
Must Read
The Saints: Teenagers with Cosmic Problems
Our heroes, the Bronze Saints, are back, and they're still teenagers. They are perpetually saving the world, skipping school, and probably not getting enough sleep. These guys definitely need a vacation.
Seiya, the main guy, is as headstrong as ever. Shiryu is the wise one, Hyoga is the cool and collected ice user, Shun is the pacifist with a surprisingly powerful chain, and Ikki, Shun's brother, is the edgy loner who always shows up at the last minute to save the day. It is a classic hero squad.

Their mission is always to protect Athena, the goddess of wisdom. She's usually in danger, which kind of makes you wonder about her strategic planning skills. It is a full time job to protect her.
Punching is Always the Answer
The fighting in Saint Seiya is legendary, and this movie doesn't disappoint. Expect a lot of screaming special moves and explosions. Seriously, the property damage alone must be astronomical.

Each saint has a signature move. Seiya's is the "Pegasus Meteor Fist," basically a barrage of punches so fast they look like shooting stars. It's as effective as it is flashy.
The Fallen Angels are also pretty creative with their attacks. There are dark fire, giant claws, and probably some really nasty curses thrown around. They are the definition of evil.
Friendship is Magic (and a Powerful Weapon)
What makes Saint Seiya heartwarming is the unwavering friendship between the saints. They would literally die for each other, and often do (before miraculously coming back to life, of course).

They draw strength from their bonds. It's a classic shonen trope, but it works! Who doesn't love a good power-up fueled by friendship and determination?
There are so many flashbacks showcasing how the saints got where they are. From fighting bears in Siberia to training in China and Greece. You just want to be part of their friend group.

Why You Should Watch It
“Warriors of the Final Holy Battle” is pure, unadulterated anime fun. Don't expect Shakespeare; expect over-the-top action, ridiculous costumes, and a surprisingly touching story about friendship.
It's the perfect movie for when you need to turn your brain off and just enjoy some good old-fashioned heroes punching villains until they explode. The shiny armor is also a plus.
So, grab some snacks, gather your friends, and prepare for a wild ride. You might even find yourself yelling "Pegasus Meteor Fist!" at random objects. Don't say I didn't warn you.
