Sailor Moon Crystal Season 2 Episode 4

Black Lady? More Like Extra Lady!
Okay, confession time. I have a soft spot for Black Lady. There, I said it!
Everyone's all about Chibiusa being annoying, but hear me out. She's just a kid! A time-traveling, emotionally neglected kid. Cut her some slack!
This episode really amps up the drama. The Doom Phantom is working overtime, manipulating Chibiusa's fragile little heart. And it works!
Must Read
Poor Rini, I mean...Chibiusa
Let's be honest, Chibiusa is a bit of a brat. But can you blame her, really? She feels unwanted and unloved.
In this episode, she basically gets the ultimate makeover. Goodbye pigtails, hello dark magic and killer heels! I almost choked on my popcorn.
Seriously, though, her transformation into Black Lady is kinda iconic. She's serving serious villain vibes, and I'm here for it.

Tuxedo Mask, The Eternal Damsel in Distress
Look, I love Mamoru. But this episode? He's basically a fancy-dressed hostage.
Black Lady is all over him, using her new dark powers to... well, let's just say she's laying it on thick. My poor prince is suffering!
It's actually kind of hilarious how often Tuxedo Mask needs rescuing. The guy throws a rose and then just waits for Sailor Moon to handle everything. Lazy, but effective!

The Feels Are Real
Okay, ignoring the damsel-in-distress thing, the emotional stakes are high. Sailor Moon is devastated by Black Lady's actions. And who wouldn't be?
Imagine your future daughter turning evil and trying to seduce your boyfriend. Awkward doesn't even begin to cover it!
The scene where Sailor Moon tries to reason with Black Lady is actually pretty heartbreaking. You can see the pain in Usagi's eyes.

Unpopular Opinion: Black Lady's Outfit Slaps
Okay, brace yourselves. I think Black Lady's outfit is fire. Straight up fire!
That goth-loli vibe? The dark colors? The thigh-high boots? It's a look. Fight me! (Just kidding... mostly.)
Compared to some of the other villain outfits, Black Lady's is actually pretty stylish. I'd wear it to a Halloween party, no question.

So, What's the Verdict?
Sailor Moon Crystal Season 2 Episode 4 is a wild ride. We've got transformations, villainy, and a whole lotta angst.
Is it perfect? Nah. Is it entertaining? Absolutely. Does it make me question my own taste in villainous fashion? Maybe a little.
And despite all the craziness, there's a core of genuine emotion. This episode is more than just sparkly transformations and monster-of-the-week battles. It's about family, love, and the pain of feeling unwanted. And that's why I keep coming back for more!
Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm off to find a pair of thigh-high boots. For research purposes, obviously.
