Then, the Inner Senshi show up. Sailor Mercury is strategizing. Sailor Mars is blasting fire. Sailor Jupiter is bringing the thunder. They’re doing things!

And what's Sailor Moon doing? Crying. Usually. A lot of crying.

Crying is… Effective?

Look, I get it. She's got the Silver Crystal. It's powerful! But most of the time, she's weeping until someone tells her to use it.

Then BAM! Big sparkly light, problem solved. But was it her solving it? Or just the Silver Crystal doing its thing?

It's like having a self-cleaning oven. You still get a clean oven, but you didn't exactly scrub, did you?

The other Senshi are putting in the work! They’re analyzing weaknesses and getting attacked. They deserve hazard pay!

Usagi mostly shows up at the last minute, after everyone else is weakened. Convenient, huh?

The Power of Friendship (and Plot Armor)

Of course, teamwork is essential! And she does inspire them. I'll give her that.

Her unwavering belief in her friends is… admirable. But is it action? Is it enough?

She’s definitely the heart of the team. But maybe the other Senshi are the brains and the muscles. And the Silver Crystal is the nuke button.

Let's not forget Tuxedo Mask! He throws a rose and offers vague advice. Then promptly gets captured. But he does provide distractions!

He’s consistently more helpful than… well, sometimes he’s more helpful than Sailor Moon is before the final blow.

Unpopular Opinion?

I fully expect to be dragged for this. The Sailor Moon fandom is passionate, and rightfully so.

She's a symbol of hope and resilience. And her journey of growth is inspiring, for sure.

But, just for fun, imagine an alternate universe. One where the other Senshi get a little more credit for saving the day.

Maybe Sailor Mercury becomes the leader? Maybe Sailor Mars gets a solo movie? The possibilities are endless!
