This week's main challenge was all about taking charity shop clothes and turning them into runway-worthy looks. Now, I don't know about you, but my charity shop finds usually involve moth-eaten sweaters and questionable floral prints. But these queens? They had to work wonders!
Some queens clearly had a vision, conjuring up haute couture out of seemingly nothing. Others... well, let's just say their designs were more "art project gone wrong" than "ready-to-wear." We're talking asymmetrical hems, questionable color combinations, and silhouettes that defied gravity. It was a journey, darling.
The pressure was on, and you could practically feel the tension simmering in the workroom. Sewing machines were whirring, sequins were flying, and shade was being thrown left, right, and center. It was pure reality TV gold. And Vanity Milan really ate that challenge!
Runway Realness
The runway theme was "God Save the Queens," and the queens truly went for it! Think punk rock royalty meets historical glam, all with a uniquely British twist. We saw everything from Union Jack-inspired gowns to looks that paid homage to iconic British figures.
Ella Vaday sashayed down the runway in a show-stopping ensemble that had the judges gagged. We're talking impeccable tailoring, fierce styling, and a confidence that could knock your socks off. Girl was serving serious "future Queen of England" vibes, and we were living for it.
But not everyone hit the mark. Some looks were a bit... underwhelming, let's say. Maybe they didn't quite understand the assignment, or maybe they just ran out of time. Either way, the judges weren't afraid to read them for filth.
The Lip Sync for Your Life!
Sadly, someone had to go home. The bottom two queens had to battle it out in a lip sync showdown that was both heart-wrenching and electrifying. They poured their hearts and souls into their performances, leaving it all on the stage.
One queen was ultimately asked to sashay away, leaving the remaining queens to fight for the crown. It was a tough decision, but as Ru always says, "If you can't love yourself, how in the hell you gonna love somebody else?"
