Okay, let's talk about Rose. You know, from How Not to Summon a Demon Lord? Prepare for some potential disagreement. I might be in the minority here, but here we go.

I just don't get the hype. Seriously. Everyone seems to love her, but she doesn't do it for me.

She's...Fine, I Guess?

Don't get me wrong. Rose isn't awful. She’s cute, and her loyalty is admirable. But beyond that? Meh.

Maybe it’s the whole Golem thing. Is it just me, or does that part of her character feel a little...underdeveloped? I mean, she's got this whole ancient, powerful background, and it's just...there.

It feels like a missed opportunity! Imagine the cool storylines they could have had. Instead, she mostly just hangs around.

The Problem Isn't Rose, It's...The Story?

Perhaps my issue isn’t entirely with Rose herself. Maybe the story doesn't quite give her enough to do. She's often just a cute, supportive presence.

And that's fine, I guess. But there are so many other interesting characters. Why focus so much on her?

I am also not so crazy about Rose's relationship with Diablo. There are moments that feel slightly too close to a parent/child dynamic.

Loyalty Is Great, But...

Everyone praises her unwavering loyalty to Diablo. And yes, loyalty is a good trait. I'm not saying it isn't.

But at times, it feels almost...blind? Like she'd follow him off a cliff without question. It would be more impressive if she sometimes questioned his methods.

Some character development would be nice! A little internal conflict, maybe? Something to show us she's more than just a devoted sidekick.

Let's Talk About the Design, Maybe?

Visually, Rose is appealing. I mean, How Not to Summon a Demon Lord knows its audience, right? She's got the whole cute anime girl thing going on.

But even her design feels...safe. It's not particularly memorable or unique. Lots of anime characters look kinda like her.

I'm not asking for a complete redesign, but a little more visual flair would be great. Make her stand out!

I Know, I'm Being Harsh

Okay, I admit it. I'm probably being a little harsh. Rose isn't a bad character. I just think she could be so much more!

And maybe that's the frustrating part. The potential is there, but it's not fully realized. It's like having a delicious-looking cake, but it tastes a bit bland.

Ultimately, it's just my opinion. If you love Rose, that's totally cool! I'm just not as enthusiastic as everyone else seems to be.

Maybe in future seasons, she'll get the development she deserves. A Golem can dream, right?
