Rick And Morty Season 5 Finale Air Date

Okay, let's talk Rick and Morty. Specifically, the Season 5 finale. Remember that? Feels like ages ago, right?
The Great Season 5 Finale Wait (And My Mild Disappointment)
We were all on the edge of our seats. The hype was real. Everyone wanted to know the air date.
Then, boom! It was announced. Sometime in September 2021. Finally!
Must Read
And honestly? Here's my potentially unpopular opinion: it was... fine. Just fine.
Don't get me wrong, I love Rick and Morty. I really do. But Season 5 as a whole felt a bit… uneven.
Some episodes were instant classics. Others? Kinda forgettable. Especially when compared to the previous season finales!
Remember Season 3 Finale? The Citadel?
That was epic! A true game-changer. It set the bar ridiculously high for future finales.

Season 4's finale was a good one too! A thrilling ride. We had Space Beth and that whole clone debacle!
Season 5... well, it had some cool moments. But it lacked that punch, that “holy crap!” factor.
Season 5 Finale: A Decent Conclusion, But Not Groundbreaking
The two-part finale involved Evil Morty and a whole lot of interdimensional travel. There was some serious canon revealed.
We got a glimpse into Rick's backstory. And the Central Finite Curve, of course. Lots of exposition, which isn't necessarily a bad thing.

But did it blow my mind? Not really. And maybe that's okay!
Maybe I'm just being too critical. Maybe my expectations were too high. After all, Rick and Morty has spoiled us with brilliant writing and unexpected twists.
It's like when your favorite band releases a new album. You love them so much. But you don’t love every song.
And it's also okay to admit that. To say, "Hey, that air date I was so excited for? The episode wasn't my favorite!"
My Unpopular Opinion: It's Okay Not to Love Everything
Let's be real. Not every episode can be "Pickle Rick." Not every season can be flawless.

That’s part of what makes Rick and Morty so great. It takes risks. It experiments.
Sometimes those experiments pay off. Sometimes they don't. But it’s always interesting to watch.
So, to recap: The Season 5 finale air date came and went. We watched. We pondered.
Some loved it. Some were indifferent. I landed somewhere in the middle. And that’s perfectly fine.

Ultimately, Rick and Morty is still one of the most creative and hilarious shows on television.
I'm excited for what the future holds. Even if I wasn’t completely blown away by every single episode of Season 5.
Bring on Season 6 (and hopefully, many more seasons after that!). Wubba Lubba Dub Dub!
And maybe, just maybe, the next finale will make me forget all about my minor Season 5 complaints. A girl can hope, right?
What do you think? Am I being too harsh? Let me know! Seriously, I'm curious.
