Rick And Morty Season 5 Episode 5 Online

Okay, let's talk about Rick and Morty. Specifically, Season 5 Episode 5. Remember "Amortycan Grickfitti"?
Some people loved it. Some...didn't. I’m here to say something controversial. Are you ready?
I secretly think it's one of the most underrated episodes. Don't @ me!
Must Read
The Devil and the Humor
The whole thing starts with Rick making a deal with Mr. Nimbus. You know, Rick's nemesis and ruler of the ocean? Classic Rick and Morty.
Then Jerry gets tricked by the Devil, voiced by the amazing Dan Harmon. He even opens a bizarre, cursed restaurant!
It's all wonderfully weird. But here's where my unpopular opinion comes in.

Jerry's Storyline Shines
Usually, Jerry plots are hit or miss. Sometimes he's annoying. Sometimes he's just...there.
But in this episode? Jerry's struggle with the cursed restaurant is genuinely funny! He's pathetic, yes. But in a way that makes you almost root for him. Almost.
He battles demonic mascots, tries to sell cursed food. It's a masterclass in Jerry-being-Jerry.
Morty and Summer's Excellent Adventure (Through Hell)
Meanwhile, Morty and Summer are off having their own hellish adventure. They are trying to make Rick look cool.

Why? Because they feel bad he's not being appreciated. It's surprisingly sweet, given who we're talking about.
They literally go to hell. Like, the actual hell. The levels of hell are absurd.
A Lesson in Family Dynamics (Sort Of)
This storyline gives a glimpse into their messed-up family dynamics. They care about Rick, even if they show it in the most dysfunctional way possible.
It's all intertwined with demonic rituals and motorcycles. It's perfect Rick and Morty chaos.

And let's not forget the cameos! Seeing characters from previous episodes pop up in hell is a delightful little Easter egg.
Why I Think It Works (Despite the Haters)
Okay, I get it. Not every episode can be "Pickle Rick." Some episodes are more subtle. Some are a bit...out there.
But "Amortycan Grickfitti" has a charm. It's the kind of episode that gets better on repeat viewings. Like a fine wine, or a really weird, fermented pickle.
The humor is layered. The plotlines, while seemingly separate, eventually converge in a satisfyingly absurd way.

The Verdict
So, if you're looking for a Rick and Morty episode to revisit, give this one another shot.
Maybe you'll discover a new appreciation for Jerry's cursed restaurant. Or maybe you'll just laugh at the sheer ridiculousness of it all.
Either way, I stand by my opinion: Season 5 Episode 5 is underrated gold. And I will defend it to the death. Or at least until the next season drops.
Don't underestimate the power of a good 'ol rewatch.
It's a dark horse episode that is well worth watching, and personally I find it to be very funny.
