Read The Night Beyond The Tricornered Window

Okay, Let's Talk About The Night Beyond the Tricornered Window
So, you've seen it, right? Or at least heard whispers about this supernatural detective series. It's got ghosts, handsome men, and… well, a whole lot of other stuff.
And here's where my (possibly) unpopular opinion comes in. Buckle up!
The Premise? Chef's Kiss. The Execution? Maybe Needs a Little Salt.
Let's be real. The setup is brilliant. A bookstore employee, Kosuke Mikado, who can see ghosts. A hot exorcist, Rihito Hiyakawa, who uses him as a… spiritual antenna? Sign me up!
Must Read
The whole "using Kosuke to exorcise spirits" thing? A bit ethically questionable. But hey, drama!
And the initial mystery? Intriguing! Someone's cursing people. There are creepy symbols. It's all very atmospheric. You know, the type that makes you lock your door at night.
But Then… Things Get a Little Weird.
Now, I'm all for a good slow burn. But sometimes, it felt like the story was burning… VERY slowly. Like, glacier-slow.

The pacing could be a bit… glacial. We spend a lot of time with Hiyakawa being enigmatic. And Kosuke being confused. Which, fair. But still.
And let's not even get started on the amount of staring. Intense, soul-piercing staring. Between everyone. Seriously, guys, blink!
The Relationship? Complicated (To Put It Mildly).
Okay, let's address the elephant (or should I say, ghost?) in the room. The relationship between Kosuke and Hiyakawa is… something. Is it platonic? Is it romantic? Is it codependent fueled by supernatural energy? The answer is, maybe all of the above.

Some people are all in on the ship. Others are raising an eyebrow and wondering if HR needs to get involved. I’m straddling the fence, honestly.
I mean, Hiyakawa’s methods are… unconventional. And Kosuke seems to be perpetually walking on eggshells. But hey, at least it's not boring, right?
The Ending? Divisive, To Say The Least.
Without spoiling anything, the ending is… well, it's an ending. It definitely leaves you with questions. Lots and lots of questions. Some people love that. Some people throw things at their screens.

Did it all make sense? Not entirely. Was I satisfied? Debatable. Was I entertained? Absolutely!
It's the kind of ending that sticks with you, even if you're not sure why.
So, Is It Worth Watching?
Despite my little gripes, I’d say yes! Especially if you're into supernatural mysteries with a dash of… ambiguous relationships. Just go in prepared for some weirdness.

It's definitely a unique experience. And sometimes, that's exactly what you need. Plus, the animation is gorgeous!
Just remember to keep an open mind. And maybe a pillow to hide behind during the scary parts. You've been warned!
And maybe have a therapist on speed dial just in case that ending gets to you. Just kidding… mostly.
