Re Zero Starting Life In Another World Characters
Okay, let's talk Re:Zero. We all love (or love to hate) this isekai rollercoaster, right? But let's be real, some opinions need to be aired. I'm just gonna say it.
First off, Subaru. Yeah, he's the main guy. The guy who dies a lot.
But honestly? Sometimes I just want to shake him. Like, dude, learn from your mistakes! He can be so frustrating sometimes!
Must Read
The Waifu Wars
Ah yes, the eternal debate. Emilia vs. Rem. Everyone has a favorite. The fandom divides along these battle lines.
I'm gonna step into the fire here. Prepare for the heat. I think Emilia gets a bad rap.
Yes, she's not as... forward as Rem. She is a powerful half-elf. But she's got a good heart. She cares. Give her a break!

Rem's Popularity: Overblown?
Okay, Rem fans, don't come for me! I love Rem. She's adorable. She's loyal. She is also a super-powered Oni warrior.
But has her popularity eclipsed everything else? Maybe just a little. I find it hard to argue against that sometimes.
Let's be honest. Half the fandom forgot about Emilia for a solid season. Rem does deserve some love.
Other Characters That Deserve More Love
There are so many great characters. Then there's Beatrice. Tsundere spirit with a surprisingly soft spot. Come on.

She is the sassiest character in the entire series. Behind the tough exterior is a heart of gold. And her interactions with Subaru are pure gold.
And what about Roswaal? Creepy? Yes. Mysterious? Definitely. But he's also incredibly interesting. I am on the edge of my seat when he is on screen.
His motivations are so twisted. He's a fascinating villain. A brilliant mastermind. Maybe he deserves more love too.

Unpopular Opinions and Unexpected Twists
Here's a truly unpopular opinion. Are the royal candidates boring? Besides Crusch Karsten. She is the exception. What a badass.
But the others? They are kind of bland. Maybe it's just me. They just never really grabbed my attention.
And let's talk about Puck. Where does he go? One minute he is the savior, next he is missing. The inconsistency is wild.
He disappears when Emilia needs him most. Leaving her alone when things get tough. I am not a fan.

Finally, the death count is a bit excessive. I love the tension. I love the stakes. But it gets desensitized after a while.
It becomes less impactful each death. Sometimes, it feels like it is being used for shock value. Maybe that is just me, however.
Anyways, that is all. I am not afraid to be wrong. Re:Zero is amazing. These are just some thoughts.
