Raised By Wolves - Season 2 Episode 1

Alright, buckle up buttercups, because Raised By Wolves is BACK! And if you thought season one was a wild ride on a space-goat, season two is like strapping yourself to a rocket powered praying mantis. Episode one? Forget about it. Mind. Blown.
Welcome to the Atheist Collective! (Sort Of)
Remember those Mithraic fanatics from last season? Yeah, they’re mostly gone (for now!). Our android parents, Mother and Father, have landed on a new, creepier part of Kepler-22b. And guess what? It’s populated! By atheists! Can you imagine?!
These aren't your garden-variety, book-club atheists, though. We're talking about a whole colony, all living inside a massive, suspiciously perfect artificial intelligence-created structure. Think "giant biosphere" meets "someone’s REALLY into organization". Cue the ominous music.
Must Read
Grandma's Got a Gun (Literally)
One of the biggest additions to this season is Grandmother. She's an ancient android, deactivated but now resurrected. She's also rocking a killer hairstyle and seems to know a LOT more than she lets on.
She’s got these weird calming powers that seem a little too calming, you know? Like, imagine your grandma could mind-control you into folding laundry. That's Grandmother, but with potentially planet-altering consequences. Yikes!

The Snake Baby... Still a Thing
Oh yeah, remember the giant, flying snake baby Mother birthed? Surprise! It's still around, and it's still a giant, flying snake. Only now, it's decided to go all Jaws on the local wildlife. Talk about teenage angst.
Seriously, this thing is like a biblical plague wrapped in scales and a bad attitude. Mother is trying to control it, but let’s be honest, parenting is hard enough with human kids, let alone a genetically engineered flying reptile that’s probably hungry for more than just space-rabbits.
Campione's Chaos and Compassion
Meanwhile, Campione is still trying to navigate this crazy planet, but is immediately imprisoned with the other Mithraic survivors by the atheists. He is trying to bring some reason and structure among his people.

He's like that one friend who always tries to be the voice of reason, even when everyone else is busy wrestling alligators in a volcano. Good luck with that, dude! He also brings some compassion and we can't help feeling for him.
Creepy Crawlies and Questionable Smoothies
Kepler-22b is a planet teeming with…stuff. We're talking strange creatures, weird plants, and probably a whole lot of things that would make even Bear Grylls reconsider his career choices.

And the food? The atheists eat these weird, beige smoothies that look like something you’d find at the back of your fridge after a year. You know, the ones that have developed their own ecosystem.
This episode perfectly sets the stage for a season filled with philosophical debates, horrifying creatures, and enough android-related drama to fill a spaceship.
Raised By Wolves continues to be gloriously weird. It makes you think, it makes you squirm, and it definitely makes you wonder what you’d pack if you were suddenly forced to colonize an alien planet. (Spoiler alert: Definitely NOT beige smoothies.)
So, if you’re looking for a show that’s equal parts sci-fi epic and existential crisis, dive in! Just be prepared to have your brain twisted into a Möbius strip of questions. You won't regret it, promise!
