Power Book Iii: Raising Kanan Season 2 Episode 7

Okay, so Power Book III: Raising Kanan Season 2 Episode 7, "No Love Lost," just dropped, and whew, things are getting spicy in Southside Jamaica! Forget your afternoon tea; this is a whole pot of drama brewing.
Raquel's Balancing Act: Mom, Mogul, Maybe Mad?
Raquel Thomas, or Raquel as everyone respectfully calls her (or fears calling her anything else), is trying to juggle way too many balls. Running a drug empire, keeping her son Kanan in line (good luck with that!), and navigating complicated feelings for Symphony. It's a wonder she sleeps at all.
Speaking of Symphony, the whole "will they, won't they" is giving us whiplash. He clearly cares for Raquel, but is he ready for the "package deal" that includes dangerous secrets and a son who's increasingly drawn to the streets? Only time will tell.
Must Read
Kanan's Crossroads: Trying to Find Himself
Poor Kanan, he's just trying to figure out who he is in the middle of all this chaos. He's bouncing between trying to be a good son, dipping his toes into the family business, and maybe, just maybe, wanting a normal life. Good luck with that, kid! He is really confused with his feeling towards his cousin Jukebox too.
Remember when he tried to make friends with those kids from school? That was simultaneously sweet and hilariously awkward. Kanan trying to "fit in" is like watching a baby giraffe trying to ice skate.

Lou-Lou's Blues: Feeling the Pressure
Lou-Lou, oh Lou-Lou. He's the lovable (sort of) uncle who's crumbling under the weight of expectations. Trying to manage the record label and keep up with Raquel's demands is clearly taking a toll.
His relationship with Jessica is like a ticking time bomb. She sees through his tough exterior, but can their love survive the dangerous world he lives in? And is it safe for Jesscia as well?

Marvin's Mishaps: Trying (and Failing) to Be Good
Marvin, bless his heart, is trying to be a better person. Attending anger management is a good start, but his short fuse and impulsive nature keep getting him into trouble. You can’t teach an old dog new tricks!
His scenes are often the comic relief, even when he's trying to be serious. Like a bull in a china shop, Marvin's attempts at self-improvement are always entertaining, even when they backfire spectacularly.

The Jukebox Jolt: Unexpected Twists
Jukebox is a character we're always watching. Her story is tragic and complex, and her struggles with identity and acceptance are so relatable. Her relationship with her father is complicated.
And speaking of surprises, that ending scene with Detective Howard! Did anyone see that coming?
Talk about a game-changer!That's what makes Raising Kanan so good – it keeps you on your toes.
Overall, "No Love Lost" was another solid episode. It balanced the intense drama with moments of humor and humanity, reminding us that even in the cutthroat world of drug dealing, family (however dysfunctional) is everything. It made us also think about where that love is lost.
