Power Book Iii Raising Kanan How Many Episodes

Okay, let's talk Raising Kanan. We all love it, right? The 90s vibe, the drama, the questionable parenting... it’s TV gold. But there’s one question that always seems to pop up: How many episodes are we getting?
The Episode Count Conundrum
Each season feels like a blink. One minute, Kanan is trying to sell candy. The next, he's... well, doing other things. So, how many episodes really are there?
Officially, each season of Power Book III: Raising Kanan has clocked in at a neat 10 episodes. Ten! Is that enough? In my (slightly unpopular) opinion, absolutely not.
Must Read
Ten Ain't Enough!
Seriously, ten episodes? That's like a gourmet meal served on a tiny appetizer plate. We need more! We crave more 90s fashion. We need more complicated family drama.
I get it. Quality over quantity. But can't we have both? Ten episodes leave you wanting more, and that's not a bad thing, but it is a short amount of time.

Other shows get, like, twenty episodes a season. Why can't Raising Kanan join that club? Imagine the storylines we could explore!
More Time, More Mayhem?
With more episodes, we could deep-dive into all those side characters. I want to see more of Lou-Lou struggling with his artistic dreams. I need to understand Marvin’s anger management issues. Give us more context!
And don't even get me started on Raq. We could unravel even more of her ruthless ambition. Her character has so many facets, let's explore each one.

Longer seasons would also mean more time to savor the music. The Raising Kanan soundtrack is a character in itself. It deserves extra screen time too, right?
My Unpopular Opinion: Bring on the Filler!
I know, I know. "Filler" episodes are often criticized. But sometimes, I just want to hang out with these characters. Watch them do everyday things. See them interact outside of the major plot points.

Imagine an episode where they just go to the arcade. Or have a family barbecue. Give us a break from the drama, but let us connect with the characters.
Okay, maybe not all filler. But a little breathing room would be nice. It would allow the main plot points to hit even harder.
So, What's the Verdict?
Look, I love Raising Kanan. But ten episodes? It feels like a tease. Like we’re just getting started when it's already over.

Maybe one day, the powers that be will grant my wish. Maybe one day, we'll get a 12- or even 15-episode season. Until then, I'll be re-watching the existing episodes and complaining about how short they are.
So, who's with me? Are you also suffering from Raising Kanan episode withdrawal? Let's start a petition! (Just kidding... mostly.)
In the meantime, let's just appreciate what we have. Ten episodes of pure 90s, crime family goodness. But seriously, more next time, please?
