Where Was My Patience?

Let's be honest, sometimes it felt like we were waiting...and waiting...and waiting. For something major to drop. But the plot felt like a slow-burner.

Did anyone else feel like some of the storylines felt a little… dragged out? I mean, I love the drama. I really do.

But I kept checking my watch. Just saying.

Love/Hate Relationship with the Subplots

The side stories? Some were gold. Others? Felt like filler. Just my opinion.

We got more into the Tejada family drama. Okay, good. Always spicy with them.

But some of it felt like a bit of a detour. Back to Tariq, please!

Let's address the elephant. Okay? People are sneaky about watching shows. Especially if they missed it live.

I'm not condoning anything, obviously. Streaming services are there for a reason.

Even if it felt a little slow. We need to know the characters are constantly being developed. Right?

Plus, it set the stage for some serious drama. Like a chess move setting up the next checkmate.

Look, Power Book II is still my guilty pleasure. I'm not giving up on it. Not now. Not ever.

Even if I have to endure a few episodes that make me question my dedication. It is what it is.
