Power Book 2 Ghost Season 2 Episode 4

Okay, Let's Talk "Power Book II: Ghost" Season 2, Episode 4
Alright, picture this: Sunday night. You're settled. Snacks are ready. "Power Book II: Ghost" is on. Life is good. Or is it?
Because honestly? Episode 4 had me raising an eyebrow… or two. Maybe even three.
The Monet Dilemma
Let’s get straight to it. Monet. Oh, Monet Tejada.
Must Read
I'm gonna say it. I'm not always on Team Monet. Sorry not sorry.
Is she a complicated character? Absolutely. Do I understand her motivations? Sometimes. But sometimes, she just makes the worst decisions ever.
Like, seriously, Monet? Some of her choices in Episode 4 had me questioning everything. Was she even thinking?

And the kids. Let's not even go there. They're like pawns in her messed-up chess game. My unpopular opinion? Somebody needs to stage an intervention. For everyone involved.
Tariq's Tango
Ah, Tariq. Always in the middle of something. Always scheming. Always… well, you know.
He’s trying to juggle school, the streets, and his love life (or lack thereof). It's a mess. A beautiful, chaotic mess.
In Episode 4, he was playing chess with everyone, including himself. Double-crossing, triple-crossing… It's hard to keep up!

And Lauren? Poor Lauren. Someone get that girl a therapist. And maybe a one-way ticket out of town.
Brayden: The MVP?
Okay, hear me out. This might be controversial.
Is Brayden the unsung hero of this whole operation? Yes, I think so!
He provides comic relief. He's surprisingly loyal. And let’s be honest, he’s kind of lovable in his own clueless way.

In a world of morally gray characters, Brayden is like a ray of sunshine. (A slightly dim ray of sunshine, but still.) He does try!
The Love Triangle (Or Rectangle? Pentagon?)
Diana, Effie, Lauren... Tariq has a type. Apparently, his type is "complicated".
The romantic entanglements in Episode 4 were more tangled than my headphones after a week in my bag. I can't keep up! And maybe I don't want to.
I feel bad for these girls. They are all being played. They deserve better!

Overall Verdict
Episode 4 was... fine. Not the best episode. Not the worst episode. Just... there. It set up some stuff. It moved the plot along.
But did it blow my mind? Not really. Was I entertained? Sure, a little. Did I have a lot of question? Absolutely.
Is anyone else hoping for more from the show? I think this second season needs a little boost. Perhaps the writers are holding out on us. I am hoping for a big plot twist.
Next Sunday can't come soon enough. I am ready to see what mess the writers are going to bring us to next!
